  1. Past hour
  2. That's some serious semantic stretching to be like "though he wanted more snaps even after having just single digits less than both the starters - that doesn't mean he wanted to be a featured part of the offense". Why do you think someone wants more snaps? No player says "if I'm on the field more, I'm happy. Don't throw me the ball, just give me more "snaps".
  3. I still disagree. Moore was 5th in WR snaps for the Bills this year so it's still a stretch equating wanting more snaps to wanting to be featured. And now you've offered that he wanted to be a starter but being a starter is still not the same as being featured. There are plenty of starting wide receivers that aren't featured in their offenses.
  4. People said that about Diggs too because he played opposite Thielen lol. The dude is a star. May end up a nut case but he is still a star and performing like one. This team needs a star or three more.
  5. Well hopefully he learned something, will show up on time, and put some effort out on the field. If he doesn't have the skill then he doesn't have the skill, but he at least has to give 100%.
  6. Every receiver who comes to Brady's Buffalo seed their production go down. Does this mean Cooks will average less than the 16.5 yards/game that he's been racking up so far this season?
  7. Well he had 27 snaps in his last game as a Bill (41% of offensive snaps) against the Texans. Which was 4th most amongst WR's behind Khalil Shakir at 44 snaps, Gabe Davis at 36 snaps, and Josh Palmer at 33 snaps. And above Tyrell Shavers, following his big outing against the Bucs. He had only 9 less snaps than Davis, who had the most amount of snaps for an Outside WR and only 6 less snaps than Palmer. If he's saying that's not good enough, he's essentially saying he wants to start. Which I would say is being featured.
  8. Never sure who's going to show up: Dr. Jekyll or Mr. Hyde. But I only pick against the Bills when I feel strongly about a bad matchup. This week, I don't know what to expect so I'm going with a Bills win... Bills 24 Steelers 21
  9. There's a difference between "wanting to be featured" and "wanting more reps."
  10. Today
  11. If what's being floated out there to Ian Rapaport by Moore/his team and/or the Bills are to be believed - it seems that Moore wanted to be featured or wanted out (ala Mike Edwards)
  12. This is all true. Our defense is the bigger problem. I think we complain more about the offense for a couple of reasons: First, we're fans. We like to see our teams score points. Second, we have Josh Allen. Whether you want to blame Beane, Brady, or the wideouts, it's criminal that we have an inept downfield passing attack.
  13. The failure of the defense to be a respectable unit is mostly due to injuries. In the first 10 games of the season, the 4 veteran additions of Bosa, Hoecht, Larry O, and Shaq Thompson and the 6 rookie additions of Hairston, Sanders, Jackson, Walker, Hancock and Strong missed a total of 45 man/games (and counting). Add the 24 man/games missed by Ed Oliver, Epenesa, Bernard, Dorian, Milano, Benford, Tre White, Taron, and Rapp and you've lost 69 man/games in 10 weeks. Even subtracting Dorian Strong and Jordan Hancock's 7 each and you're still missing 5.5 core defensive players each week. The only core defenders who've played every game this year are Rousseau, Bosa, and Cam Lewis... just 3 players. And both Bosa and Rousseau have played through injuries.
  14. I said earlier that I can't wait to see Nick Wrong tomorrow. Now I get an even better day. I get to watch that homer and also his companion Ravens homer Brou give excuses.
  15. He's more of a tortoise than a hare... I've never seen a statistical breakdown but I'm quite sure that all teams have the greatest percentage of success on their first drives of each half... the scripted plays that they've practiced, memorized, and visualized. The Bills offense is not dynamic. The best offenses are the ones where the defense really doesn't know what the play call will be on any given down and distance. The Bills are deliberate and predictable. An offense can't always "impose its will." It has to try to keep the defense guessing too. Under Brady the Bills have brought in WRs (Samuel, Moore, Valdes-Scantling) that have had some success elsewhere with poor quarterbacking and proceeded to watch those players disappear despite playing with one of the all-time great QBs. It's more than just talent. It's not an either/or thing IMO. Yes, the talent could be better but again, as I wrote above...
  16. Brady is 100% the biggest issue. He's predictable and opposing players/coaches are openly clowning him. Beane is a joke. That doesn’t absolve Brady though. 19M tied up in 2 WR’s who can’t stay on the field. A 1st for a TE who’s always injured and we don’t know how to use. Comical mismanagement of pass catchers for JA.
  17. Allen and Brady better sit in a room and come up with a solid plan to "Matriculate the ball down the field"
  18. Texans are not a definite win, especially when KC is now down 3 stating OL.
  19. The moves we’re making at WR - isn’t this Beane admitting it’s not a play caller / OC issue? Beane is the one that looks incompetent at the moment regarding the WR production / lack there of. So this makes me feel much better about Brady as OC. It's what we’ve all known that apparently an NFL GM did not and that was our weapons are just not good enough.
  20. Why even keep Curtis Samuel over Elijah Moore when he brings absolutely nothing to the table and is always injured
  21. I've always been an "optimistic realist" but here are the posts that most closely express my expectations for the season (some of them are contradictory): As has been pointed out, the Bills have a recent history of going on late season runs and there are other teams have come from the depths of the wild card race to win the Super Bowl. There is much to be said about peaking at the right time. BUT, the last post above by @Puckman5 resonates most loudly for me. How can a team with a TE Coach AND a OL Coach who were both NFL Offensive Coordinators not get the offense straightened out??? The finger points to McDermott, IMO. Either he has more negative influence on the offense than we care to admit AND/OR his systems and culture do not allow for positive collaboration and honest self-scouting. It's unfathomable to me that Kromer and/or Boras don't have some good ideas on how to improve Brady's shyt show and yet even after the bye, we've seen little to no evidence that the offense is progressing in a good direction. Are Kromer/Boras allowed to provide constructive input into the offense? If not, why not? Are their voices welcomed in the room? Are they biting their tongues? Are their ideas dismissed? And why do players like Samuel and Moore, who've put up good numbers elsewhere while never having played with good QBs come to the Bills and promptly disappear from the face of the earth even though they're now playing with an all-time great QB? Mike Sando's "The Athletic" article about the failings of Raiders' OC Chip Kelly seem to apply verbatim to Joe Brady... that he's a college play caller who had short term success, but who can't raise his game now that the NFL has solved his offense. Brady has no answers and neither do those around him for whatever mysterious reasons. The dysfunctional offense and the injury-riddled defense make me highly doubt that the Bills will be the team catching lightning in a bottle this season. I hope I'm wrong.
  22. Just seems like a lot of injuries, bad timing, and mismanagement of getting quality receivers/putting receivers in the right positions to make plays/scheme, etc. Help me, Keon Coleman, you're my only hope!
  23. 1) Still salty the freaking Pats didn't get this Cincy team last week 2) Only downside of Chiefs loss is since it was to an NFC team it helps their playoff chances
  24. Are you saying that you were just trolling everyone like a jackass in your OP?
