Is watching the Bills fun for you these days?
Buffalo Boy replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall
The steps of grief. I got to acceptance much earlier than most. The impending sense of doom was waiting to get knocked out in the playoffs. We aren’t winning a Super Bowl this year or any year with this regime. I have accepted the fact that we will also not fire them for a few more years. Josh has been the most delightful waste of time for quite a while now but he will be a shell of himself when he finally gets a new coach here. Unless, he forces a trade or retires. I don’t believe in superstition or magic of any kind….. but man does Buffalo have what appears to be an awful curse. -
Joe "Screen Pass" Brady
-
Someone pointed out at one point in time Will Anderson AND Hunter were both off the field and the Bills decided to huddle up the next play. Two guys wrecking your offense… you’d like to think they keep them off when they have a chance. If you don’t want to prevent substitutions then, what’s the point.
-
Best pass rushing defense in the league + receivers that can’t get open is a recipe for a hurt QB. We’ll be lucky if some of those hits don’t show lasting effects. Not sure what we have to do at this point to convince leadership to get a legitimate NFL caliber WR. Even mid tier at this point

11/20/2025 Bills @ Texans post game thread

Who are the blue chippers the Eagles have signed?

I don't really follow the cap, but I am concerned about some of these contracts. I imagine the only way to turn this around sooner than later is to have a couple home run drafts, which Bean doesn't seem capable of.

Why not play uptempo with the no-huddle?
BillsFanForever19 replied to Herb's topic in The Stadium Wall
You might not fully understand that we don't have the personnel to do that. This ain't the 90's. No Huddle is a relic. In today's NFL, Defenses would adjust and their athleticism (especially an Elite Defense like Houston's) would have us 3 and Out'ing too often - sticking our MASH Unit or an already poor Defense back out on the field with no rest. We don't have Andre Reed and James Lofton alongside a pair of Tight Ends like Pete Metzelaars and Keith McKeller and a Kenneth Davis to our Thurman Thomas or an anchor like Kent Hull. Terrible idea with the makeup of this offense. -

We played right into their hands -
Add whatever Benford, Milano, White, Samuel, are making and hopefully remove it as well.
-
Why not have a goal of 30 points or bust every game no matter how it has to be achieved? It's honestly what you need to do to be truly elite in this league.
-
How you feeling after the game Virgil Like your mood not your feelings towards the bills lol Are you bummed or over it

Division is out at this point…have to do it as a wildcard
SydneyBillsFan replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
If you accept the reality that we are the great pretenders, it will be much easier for you to deal with the end of season result. I am genuinely hoping we miss the playoffs. It's the only hope that things might change for the better. Because the Beane-McDermott-Brady-Babich quartet will not take us to the promised land. . -
Exaxtjy. McD would never allow it
-
Sounds like a great way to give our defense zero rest.
-
You just might not fully understand what pace can do to break down and force a defense into mistakes. Josh was continually in the pocket most of the game with receivers not getting any separation. We played right into their hands.

Will the Bills Win another game on the Road this season?

Buffalo716 replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
The fact you say we haven't since 2020 completely make your opinion not even worth reading Seeing as we literally played the AFC champions to a field goal game last year severely handicapped And we played them to another field goal game severely handicapped It would actually show we are not as far off as what you're thinking... When have the bills had all pros consistently like the Ravens and severely blown everything? Everybody here says up and down Andy reads the best coach in the NFL and spagnola is the best defensive coordinator... And they have more talent than us But we're barely losing while being more injured? That kind of makes Sean McDermott look good that he beats them five straight times in the regular season and barely loses in the postseason while being more dinged up and supposedly well out coached... You would expect that to be a 35 to 17 loss The bills have been field goals away -

Even if they had the personnel to run it, which I don't think they do, I don't think McDermott would ever do it. He's allergic to scoring quickly because then it "exposes" his defense. I believe his ideal offense is one that would eat half the game with 2 possessions per half and then have the ball in the waning moments to win on a walkoff FG (because obviously his specialty defense would also give up points to the opponent on their 2 possesions of each half, as well).

Trogdor replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Giants went as a 6th seed having already taken the undefeated Pats down to the wire. They also had an extremely dangerous pass rush. Do you think this defense is holding anyone to 14 or 17 points in the playoffs? I don't think every team has a chance. You have to be dangerous in at least one aspect and the Bills aren't and probably haven't been since 2020. -

Weeks before Miami game- I said if we add a stud WR, we win the Super Bowl. If we don’t add, we will be lucky to make the playoffs, or we limp in. Pittsburgh- Cincy- NE- that could be 3 losses. At this point, Buffalo is too flawed on both sides of the ball. If we miss playoffs, I don’t think that’s the worst thing. Changes need to be made. Failures bring changes. -

When things are not holding up protection wise, you can always speed things up to throw the defense out of their rhythm. -

Buffalo716 replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's ridiculous because 14 teams make the playoffs and they all have a chance The Giants went to the Super bowl twice and won from the 6th seed Every team has a chance unless you have a tragic quarterback come playoffs... But even then Mark rypin won a Superbowl.. so did Nick foles It's about who gets hot at the right time
