  1. Yesterday
  2. I hate this for her. Happy birthday and prayers your way.
  3. Is he worth his $15 million per year asking price? Tough question. He is an outstanding back, but I think with the way Buffalo uses him, he comes a bit short of what you might call a workhorse or bell cow back. I think the Bills worry that if they gave him more touches the risk of injury might go up given Cooks relatively diminutive size. Saquon Barkley, Derrick Henry and Bijan Robinson, along with a few other backs had over 300 carries in 2024, while Cook had 207 carries. Cook also caught some passes, but Barkley actually caught a few more, and Derrick Henry even caught a few. I don't think Buffalo wants increase the number of touches they give Cook. They are happy to have Ty Johnson as a 3rd down back, and I think they would like Ray Davis to be even more involved in the offense than he was in 2024. It becomes a question of what he's worth to Buffalo versus what he might be worth to a team that would want him to be a bigger percentage of their offense.
  4. Well that's why it's a passion thing If you don't love it ... The hours will feel worse
  5. Sure, but traveling all the time for work really wears on you, especially at $80K a year. Jim Monos probably made six times that as a director of scouting, and he wasn't exactly Bill Polian.
  6. Can we claim The Tragically Hip?
  7. Isn't moe. from Buffalo?
  8. There are plenty of scouts who never want to get into all the BS that the front office comes with They actually like the grind and the hustle of being a area scout on the road And you can make depending on the team and your seniority 60 70 80 90 thousand dollars on the road That's with everything else getting paid for so yeah tough life but if it's your passion it's not that bad
  9. I think the issue is that guys who are consistently great at scouting have opportunities to make a much higher salary in other front office positions.
  10. Another elbow injury? I knew of the hand, but not elbow again. Is it time he just gets it fixed before it fully tears on him?
  11. Seems to me they brought it on themselves by offering up their poodle.
  12. I think he was. He was electric as a returner, and I think that possibly clouded their judgment on his coverage skills. "We'll put him and Clements back there and have two guys at corner who are a threat to score on every INT." He wasn't a bad player, but Greer was better. Greer a good run with New Orleans, I think, after he left Buffalo.
  13. He absolutely had a nose for the ball. There were a lot of defensive diamonds-in-the-rough during the Gailey era that McDermott could've really shaped into awesome players.
  14. That sounds about right; I think McGee was Winfield's replacement.
  15. Got a lot of paper and cloth masks to throw around as well. Can't really throw around 6 feet of separation and lockdowns... Or deport them to El Salvador.
  16. Bryan Scott - he was my defensive 'Fred Jackson' during the 'Cash to the Cap' era. Safety that got plopped into a tweener LB role, he was just always in the right place at the right time. Loved that player.
  17. It’s UNDERESTIMATED how bad it is No way anyone can marry that. Just no way.
  18. Morse, the Center, is #60. This ball was snapped on the right hash of the 26 yard line. Josh takes a full 5 step drop and then 3 false steps and actually drifts left into the pass rush before being hit as he threw. That’s Diggs running wide open right in front of Allen. We’re to conclude that Josh didn’t have a pocket and Dion Dawkins is 100% at fault for this play resulting in an incompletion. Who are you going to believe, Einstein or your lying eyes?
  19. Found this interesting Where are They Now:
  20. that's a fun band name lol they could tour with Almond Butter 😄
  21. It is said that Paull Brown, one time owner oof the Bengals, bought the draft issue of the Sporting News and made his picks from that.
  22. They have another called Cereal Killer, equally bizarre.
