Actually, we regularly use perforated panels to control /diffuse sunlight and heat gain. I’ve not seen them used to diffuse wind, but then again, why not? - Today

Being activated with training camp still young is more important to Shenault than Knox. Knox is pretty much a known quantity to the Bills. Half a dozen missed practices in training camp isn't going to make a huge difference. Shenault, on the other hand is going to have to scrape and claw his way to a roster spot. He is essentially competing for the sixth WR spot and there are several players ahead of him in the competition. Shavers and Hamler have both played pretty well and both have special teams value. One advantage that Shenault potentially has over the two of them is he has the skill set that would allow him to both return punts and kickoffs and function as a gunner in punt coverage. Hamler and Shavers are limited to one or the other, Hamler-returning punts and KOs and Shavers-punt coverage.

To be fair, the results of the Cleveland Browns season would probably be similar if they practiced or didn't practice.

I’ll quibble a bit on the idea that they’re saying “wind confusion” because it sounds cool. As you well know, those perforated panels have a specific design function to convert wind from a turbulent flow into a smoother laminar flow. It’s less about the aesthetics than it is about the function. Although, aesthetically, using part of the Bills logo as the shape of the perforations is a nice touch. And I predict that when the stadium is finished the days of those harsh lake Erie winds having an impact on games and spectator comfort will be a thing of the past. But that walk from the lots to the entrance will still be a major PIA when the weather changes. -

The thing with Kincaid is that in the training camp setting, he would shine brightly because it maximizes his traits: he gets open. The one thing I'm not sure about is contested catches and I don't see much improvement last year vs his rookie season. The guy has a college catch rate 75% to 78% last 2 years in CFB, absolutely the best. In NFL, the Bills brass and everyone rightfully thought he's going to pop after a catch rate of 80% in 2023. Then last year to 58%. Maybe it is injury. Maybe it is adjustment the defenses have made to make it more contested situation. I just know that he's not someone when the ball is in the vicinity, he has hands to catch it (like Diggs); he relies on his legs to get into his "catching position", i.e. he's not going to make acrobatic, body-twisting catches. -

MORE REAL NEWS. Cambodia and Thailand are scheduled to begin high level talks in Malaysia shortly in hopes of achieving an immediate ceasefire. State Department officials are on the ground in Malaysia to assist these peace efforts. Both @POTUS and I remain engaged with our respective counterparts for each country and are monitoring the situation very closely. We want this conflict to end as soon as possible. -

Great photo. They’re making major progress on the surrounding sitework (pavement, curbs, gutters, and planters) while the weather is good. As regards the ‘wind confusion’ panels, from what I’ve seen these are nothing more than perforated metal panels; which have been a popular architectural product material/aesthetic for a few years now. At the Bills new stadium I think they’re just referring to them as a wind confusion treatment because it sounds ‘cool’. They primarily line the outside of the concourse areas beneath the stands. But again…it sure sounds cool. -

Good to hear that Kincaid will likely have a busy year and that Coleman had the offensive play of the day. -

I wish they would wear the red helmets for every home game and the all white helmets/uniforms for away games. Correct me if I’m wrong but they’re only wearing the red helmets for one game right? Bummer. -
