I know a lot of army families going to DC for this. It’s a big deal to them and it’s a big deal for recruitment and what it means to serve. If you’ve paid attention to what’s happened to our military the last 15 plus years this makes total sense and is well deserved. The focus may be the Army but this parade today is also a statement to remind Americans how great our military truly is and that isn’t some grounds for societal woke experiments. And if this POS hates it that much, you know it’s a good idea. Note the laughter from the host and crowd - these people are gone

Drove through LA on my way back from a funeral yesterday. If you zoom out from the three pictures of the “hellscape” you keep seeing on the news, I can assure you, the only thing attacking LA at present is sunshine and horrific traffic (see: a normal Friday). Both sides of the media are posting a handful of zoomed in (literally and figuratively) photos to show the “libs torching cars” and the military “attacking” said “libs.” Get off your couch and the internet for a while folks. The country is not burning. -
I feel like drafting a second or third round RB every other year is a horrific strategy. Who would you rather have on a rookie contract? A top 15 running back or a top 30 WR? I was talking about Mooney….

I’d call it a mostly peaceful drive. -
Only tangentially related, an I the only one who loathes parades in general? Parades of all sorts block streets, if you’re odd enough to actually attend one, you’re forced to stand shoulder to shoulder with the general public with varying levels of personal hygiene, and there’s never a good place or enough places to take a leak. All for the chance to see a bunch of people stroll by for 90 seconds while you hope to get a chance to stare at them, assuming no one is blocking your view. If I were the type to believe in something like Hell, the Macys Thanksgiving day parade in perpetuity would be up there with my best possible description. Now get off my lawn so I can yell at a cloud in the sky in peace.

You say you're not relying on yards alone. Then when describing Palmer, that's precisely what you do, that and nothing else. "A guy with back to back 400 yard seasons. That's Josh Palmer production." And nothing else. Which is wrong, first of all. He's got back to back 580 yard seasons. With only 61 and 65 targets, and on 75% and 65% of snaps there's an extremely good argument that they left a lot of his potential unused. That could be wrong or it could be right, nobody knows. But it probably speaks less to the market than it does the Bills (and possibly other teams as well) evaluation of Palmer specifically. You're judging him - based directly on your own post - on past yards alone. Clearly the Bills are not. Again, doesn't mean this contract will look good down the line. That'll have to be seen.

OMG WTF is going on This explains how he would have access to a “law enforcement-like” vehicle and uniform, as police have reported. He also did work in Gaza and other places overseas, interestingly enough. *Photos from Praetoria Security’s website -

Vance Boelter, the suspect in today's shootings, was the CEO of an international NGO called the Red Lion Group. But I couldn't find any photographs or digital records of its work, only a generic website. The Red Lion Group appears to have run out of funding a month or two ago, as that is when he started looking for executive-level roles. -

Could you clarify the teams here? Are the elderly crosswalkers 'The Establishment' or 'The Fascists?' And who are the Bolsheviks, the people in the Escalade? Maybe worry less about politics and more about your situational awareness. Unfortunately pedestrians and cyclists ALWAYS need to be extra careful because traffic tends not to see them. No matter what bumper sticker they have. -
Smells fishy? Perfect. Line him up next to the other lunatic wr in Miami.

I think that putting a specific price tag on this doesn’t work. It depends too much on each individual’s financial status, age, and level of greed. The real question should be, is there ANY amount of money you’d take for the Bills never win a Super Bowl? I love this team, but if your answer is no, you’re too insanely devoted imo.

I disagree here. Cook was a 2nd rounder compared to those three and had a different profile as a smaller but more explosive back that could take it to the house if able to get to that second level. You can find a lot of those in the draft in the first few rounds every year. It's no guarantee that the drafted RB will give you close to or even over exceed what we had in Cook but when managing a roster that's how I'd approach the RB position. Shoot. I forgot that Beane was allowed to have 4th round picks at the time when they drafted Davis. My mistake. Would I hate it if Cook signed between $10 and $12m per year? Probably. I wouldn't kill Beane for it though.

Assuming this is what it looks like, this is what happens when you engage in stochastic terrorism, labeling everyone and everything they don't like as Hitler, fascism, etc. (ya know, exactly what the left has been accusing the right of doing). -

Kinda unfortunate Libs were all on board with Luigi Mangione and his 'understandable' assassination of the United Health Care Exec last year. That was just as repugnant as this is. -
