  1. Past hour
  2. Yes he is, but he is also the MOST penalized player on the Bills this year, 6 total including 4 false starts, 3 of which were at home. He was also the 2nd most penalized player last year, with 16 total including 10 false starts.
  3. The Pats have proven they can beat up bad teams and capitalize against good teams that have an off day. Yes, their coaching is better and credit to Maye, he's really good. They are playing with confidence right now. But this is the NFL. Sooner or later they will drop a game or two that they are expected to win. Then the shine will be off them.
  4. Look at the stars Look how they shine for you And everything you do Yeah, they were all yellow I came along I wrote a song for you And all the things you do And it was called "Yellow"
  5. Lockett is probably better off on a team like the Raiders that needs a vet WR to come help be a good influence on their younger developing players as opposed to coming to the Bills who need an impact boundary WR.
  6. Sometimes bad juju builds up in Bills gear to the point of a loss. Not much one can do about that in the moment. Between the Pats game and the Falcons game I washed the slump out of my Bills gear, but I forgot my hat, which I washed the Saturday before the Panthers game. There was a lot of slump in that old unwashed hat... among other things. You can all thank me... especially if you're within 5 feet of me now when I'm wearing it.
  7. Wore my Bills socks on Friday. Hadn't remembered to all year.
  8. They remind me of the 2023 Fins, certainly a good team but I still think things have to shake out a little more before I say they are going to be a consistent contender for the division and in the AFC. They much like the Fins in 2023 have a soft schedule and are going to make it most certainly down to the wire for the division barring any injuries. The Bills schedule while not grueling is far from soft. KC this weekend is hard, the Bucs and Eagles games are more so on the difficult end, and the Steelers and Texans games are mid-level solid opponents. Of course there are some "softies" on the schedule like the Jets, Browns, and Fins. Right now the Bills just have to control what they can control. Beat KC and you are 6-2 with a road game against the Fins coming up. See how everything shakes out after that. You play the Pats again so there's some aspect of that that is in your control.
  9. Reversing the question--what guy would I cut from the Bills to make room for Lockett? Answer: no one.
  10. Time to put some separation between us and the Chiefs, fellas. It’s good that we have an extra day of rest over them. Go Bills!
  11. Jeudy has such a cheap hit for the acquiring team that I'd hope we make another move at the position. He strikes me a boom or bust acquisition
  12. He also allowed this to happen. He is to much of a yes man to demand different if he wanted it to be different.
  13. Yeah, the goalposts do seem to shift constantly. Posters want Allen paid obviously, also a top O-line, and big-name receivers, AND an elite defense (since when our defense is merely average it's a travesty), and also we need to draft elite talents while drafting in the last 8 picks of the round every year, or trade for them with similarly devalued draft picks, etc. Like the one coherent criticism you can make of this team is that it favors consistency via mid-range contracts to maintain depth and continuity vs. cap-managed peaks and troughs to boost odds in specific "all-in" years.
  14. I wonder what he could do fi the defense feared the outside receivers. It seemed to my eye yesterday like their secondary was "playing downhill".
  15. I think everybody gotta be given a chance to run deep routes. Part of the struggles is predictability. Each guy seems to have a few things they use them for.
  16. I’m not going to toot my horn a ton but I was on Hoecht before he signed here and was one of the few people on this board who loved his signing while everyone else was like who the hell is this guy and he’s not worth it etc.
  17. Democrats need to step up and reopen the government before poor people starve.
  18. Kelly agrees to a $27M buyout. https://www.sportingnews.com/us/ncaa-football/lsu/news/lsu-brian-kelly-agree-reduced-buyout-college-footballs-historic-season-continues/79382919559c80a43b1b30ca?utm_source=yahoo&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=appeared_on
  19. wore my old #34 jersey last couple games, put #17 on yesterday. Sorry Thurman, you cost us 2 games you can ride the pine for a while
  20. Our schemes are quite intricate. i was watching and doing play by play for the guys behind us saying what the bills will do pre snap. i warned them to watch #85. we were using him to lead block, motion pulls to block/crackback, and on many run plays he would deliberately go to the second level or through the top to get blocks in - disguising the setup to run a pass route. he eventually got a pass and more importantly was getting to spaces unnoticed. hawes success is putting Kincaid on the sideline, Knox played a bunch. and there were at least 2 (maybe 3 plays) i noticed where we were 3 deep on tight end. but i noticed Knox and Hawes on the field a lot. Gilliam too. we are scheming for them.
  21. I stopped believing in them. I still don't. KC will expose them next Sunday. Sorry.
  22. I stand by my view that he was concussed against NE. Also, it’s not an issue when Cook is going for 216, but I do feel like he sees the field better from the gun. Getting to the line faster to allow Brady to help in his ear might be a good idea.
  23. We all know at this point that a true boundary Wr is needed on this team. The issue with the "data" presented idea that the WR's are NEVER getting open is that all you have to do is look with your own eyes, and you'll see that while yes, it is true that they are often struggling to get open, there are ALSO times where receiving options ARE open. There were no less than 3 times yesterday where Coleman came open (by a significant amount) on his route. I actually saw him used on a crosser! I almost passed out. Moore also came open on a number of routes, one that Josh missed him awfully on. There were other examples of this as well. Watch the game back (even the regular tv cast shows these) if you don't believe me. In the case of yesterday, Josh missed these open options. He needs to be better too. And yes, overall, the receiving options we have typically are lacking good separation.... I thought it was also interesting that when Mitch came into the game, he threw 2 passes and completed them to "NFL open" receivers that were only open by a half yard or so. Largely this is a WR problem yes, but NOT entirely.
