  1. Past hour
  2. Didnt we have only two starters playing? This is why I don’t even watch the preseason.
  3. Knox won't play on his 2026 number. That's almost certain. There is either an extension and re-working of that deal or he will be released.
  4. McDermott is not the defensive coordinator. I do think he might have to be at some stage though. I don't love that idea, I didn't think it worked great in 2023.... but I have significant concerns about Bobby Babich at this stage. I really don't know if he has feel for calling a game. The third down defense has been trash since he took over. That had previously been a strength of this team, especially under Leslie.
  5. A common psychological thread amongst dictatorial types, is that they are afraid of losing power. It's not a hard trait to follow, figure out, and predict future moves. That's why they are weak leaders. Trump is not hard to figure out, but his proponents are adhering to a suspension of disbelief. I think Winston Churchill said something like, 'Americans will always do the right thing- once all other options are exhausted.' I believe, and hope he's right.
  6. Even if it's only preseason, there should be a fair amount of shame and blame for allowing 700 yards of offense in a single game. Certainly makes me think thrice about McDermott ever being an elite defensive coordinator.
  7. Failure is the pathway to success
  8. I think the Bengals are the most likely to crash the party - as I said in a following post - but they are not in the same camp as the Bills and Ravens IMO. They haven't made the post season the past two years and they have not been that consistent number 1 contender type team. The Bills and Ravens have been banging at the door. This year if it is not the Chiefs it has to be one of those two.... or else.
  9. When does coaching or the overall scheme become the focus? 528 yards passing and with such ease of third down conversions again despite who was playing.
  10. certainly made the Bears fans think theyre going to the Super Bowl this season. so theres that. i continue to be extremely worried about the safeties. i have a feeling that specific position is going to cost us later in the season, again.
  11. Peace didn't break out. Do you remember watching live as Russian missiles started raining down all over the Ukraine - the first glows in the air, the first strikes on their cities. I don't think I'll ever forget watching that horror unfold, live on television. That was all Putin. There was no military provocation or even a sniff of 'defensive necessity' leading up to that moment. The OP's point is unfortunate and deadly on- the power of the United States, between its own military and the allies it could have summoned, has been shown up by a wannabe, currently 10 tiers below our weight class. To put it into board terms, Trump is the Billy Joe Hobert of presidents.
  12. Today
  13. Yeah, let's talk paid protesters.
  14. Knox will be a Bills for life. I don't think they are going to cut Knox next season. He will take a pay cut to get the adjusted salary and play here till he retires. I believe the vibe inside OBD for Knox is very different than what the Bills Mafia sees. Then only route with Samuel for this year is the trade route, just like for Epenesa...Both could get traded for 6th or 7th round picks to just get them off the books.
  15. Throughout the game, I kept seeing the same penalties and lack of discipline that have absolutely killed us at the worst times under McDermott. It seems once again that we just can't stop anyone in terms of passing and third down conversions despite the "depth" we've drafted and veterans we've signed. The Bears had 528 passing yards to our 180. Fingers are crossed as always, but if we continue to have the same problems and put more and more pressure on Allen to make up for these deficiencies, it's going to keep being the same results at the end of each season.
  16. Dorsey had 1 season + chump change before he was dumped....It is quite possible for Babich to be gone if he has yet another bad year.
  17. This ridiculous Republican party line talking point saying if you don't support what President Trump is doing in DC then that means you like crime is as dumb as saying if you don't get a COVID vaccine you want to kill Grandma.
  18. When you have wasted some much cap space on your DL then it is going to impact other places. Our front seven including the LBs are making a ton of money that is not justified in the returns.
  19. There's a thousand guys like that hanging in the balance who have been serving their dues If he's in NFL offensive coordinator for 5 to 10 years that's a success Instantly calling him an NFL head coach is very premature
  20. LET US IN LET US IN LET US IN LET US IN Said the paid protesters that arrived on a bus.
  21. I see you're out on parole again! Why don't you accept my phone calls?!? You want my commissary but you don't want to talk to me And that hurts
  22. In regards to the first, President Trump himself has said he hasn't been able to stop Pooty Poot from doing anything. He said the talks to Pooty Poot on the phone and thinks he has things worked out. Then he hangs up and Melina tells him Russia is dropping bombs. What exactly is President Trump.stopping him from doing?
  23. They all suck and Beane should be called out again for the garbage war's he has given Allen, compare this with what other elite QB'S in this league have to work with
  24. overall it's nothing, lot of these guys will never see the field, it's just bit concerning watching our 2nd/3rd stringers get dominated. Just a year or 2 ago we won every pre season game under McDermott I would much rather see how the joint practices went
  25. Plus they gave him $2M in guaranteed money
  26. football is my life and I literally found any reason to not even watch tonight lol I could care less about all the reactions.. We're talking about we have six or seven open roster spots on our 53... This is not indictive of how our roster will play like opening day We realistically have 10 guys fighting for six spots.. compare that to the bears who have probably have 30 guys fighting for their NFL job I'd rather not even break this down then worry
  27. And this is why I constantly say I'd rather just invest more in the offense. I don't know how many times I can say it, but spending all the picks & money trying to get the defense right ultimately won't matter as long as McDermott is here. Yes, it's preseason, but this just shows that if any starter goes down (and they will), they have no depth behind them.
