  2. What are some of your favorite things about Mamdani and his platform? Do you expect him to be a successful mayor?
  3. The idiots that politicized Laken Riley are lecturing.
  4. His name sounds like a made up madden name. In fact, I'm pretty sure I've seen it years ago.
  5. Del Boca Vista, Phase Two!
  6. The politics of fear, anger, and false outrage never fail.
  7. I actually know a little bit about cricket--got into it due to a cousin who played--and can corroborate that Gunner is, indeed, talking sense. Meantime, I was thinking about Josh Allen and how special he is. I've never met him, but by all accounts including @Alphadawg7's, he seems to be one of those rare people who have the inner generosity and strength to be a real role model--not just someone whose accomplishments you admire, but someone who conducts themselves with real character. And yet, he's funny and not saintly or boring! We are really lucky to have the guy.
  8. I used real world examples that represent the most progressive policies in our nation to see the results. Not curves or textbooks. You think neoliberal/republican policies are a big function of urban unaffordability which is true. Im not denying it. Thats different then going farther left with progressive policies will alleviate some of these problems in mythical ways. Is San Fransico more progressive then ny? I certainly think so. Are there any results showing this google? *Housing costs are 161% higher than the national average. *Utilities are 58% higher than the national average. *Transportation costs (including gas and public transit) are 43% higher than the national average. *Grocery prices are 21% higher than the national average. Urban affordability. So when will we see the results at least tip in the other direction or is the area just neoprogressive and needs MORE left policies on top of the ones they have? " I take umbrage with the notion that “free money” and “closing down businesses” were distinctly progressive policies at that time." states were given their own choice of how to handle the pandemic and to suggest the progressive response was anything other then to advocate exactly what happened in democrat cities is disingenuous. Id suggest the effects would have been greater and more prolonged if progressives had their way. Thats what i see in progressives, a policy action and then no accountability on the effects. I wonder when small bodegas and corner stores are closed down around these gov controlled ones do to being "for profit" if we will get a rinse repeat of the other damages done to examples i made in my last post and demand more gov stores are needed because there arent enough around anymore. "It was conventional epidemiological wisdom to shut down NYC" Yeah i was in the covid threads trying to have common sense discussions on what others saw as conventional wisdom from EXPERTS. Read mine and other posts that you wont find in epidemiological reports in hindsight. Consumer demand would have been normalised quickly if real wisdom would have been the reaction. Instead it was funneled to huge corporations while progressives where chearing the cops closing mom and pop shops in cities across the country and demanding more stimulus be sent out. I didnt even touch progressive views and measures on mass immigration that are now mainstream enacted by "neoliberal" cities that effect every point you say is causation. Unless somewhere in a textbook more people fighting over limited resources lowers prices in urban or other environments. Thats great you got a chuckle for how capitalist have to "navigate" paid/family time. Guess how they do it. The same way they do everything. Pass the brunt of it on everyone else or close shop. By close shop i mean open it where they dont have to navigate. Be that state or nation. People who dont abuse it are subject to carry the workload. Joe just used pfl for his wifes anxiety problem again. We need you to do a double tonight or we wont make quota. We dont make quota enough times we are moving the company. We move the company and progressives fight for gov handouts to the newly unemployed. A cycle that starts with a progressive mandate that they give little care of if abused. Then we talk about urban affordability in the area with no employment prospects. Im not for capitalist profits and low taxes at all but taxing them alot more or abuse of something like pfl has one of those trickle down effects that you speak of like reaganomics. Its not as easy a solution yet it is made as one over and over. Evil corporations ( insert person who needs it and ignore any and all that take advantage of it) then get more taxes to fix new problem. I agree with this but I see the far lefts novel ambitious ideas. I live in NY. Im not seeing them result in much more then alot of empowerment of the largest corporation in the world all while equally condemning the market ones. Why dont progressives fund the things they claim to fight for? Give a couple bucks to bus fair united for free bus rides? Give a couple more to urban families so they have affordability. Keep giving to all the things you point to so it never has to be taken and i promise noone will have a problem with it. there will be no need to go into weeds on a football message board. Enough progressives put skin in the game instead of demanding it of everyone else and we could see some real... progress.
  9. Performative outrage with moral bankruptcy
  10. Hoping they were looking across the field, so that was the visitor's side in the sun. Can anyone confirm? (Couldn't hear audio so unsure if that is mentioned in any "narration.")
  11. Alligator Auschwitz - $150,000 taxpayer dollars per detainee, per year SNAP benefits - $2,256 per citizen, per year Keep reining in that spending!
  12. See, this is exactly what I'm talking about. You could just be making this up as a bit and I can't say which it is.
  13. If they knew Trump was with underage girls - no one lets him even see the primary in 2016 let alone 2020 - then 2024. No one agrees to join his administration. Especially Kash and Bongino. The Epstein files were discussed ad nauseam from 2020-2024. At least among the right. This is to address why I don’t believe Trump is guilty of anything. I fully oppose them not releasing the files. I do not think they are trying to cover for the guilty. Right now I think at worst this is CIA and at best Blondi is a PR moron that can’t find a camera fast enough. I mean really? Trump is guilty but your administration parades around the binder that’s “got him?” Mmmmm k.
  14. Maybe the guy closed the window from ledge then jumps. 😁
  15. The Seattle stadium's roof design isn’t a cantilever overhang at all. It’s actually two huge trusses that span the length of the stadium and the roof bears on the them. And if I recall, the end zones are not covered. The closest design is of course Tottenham. There, the remaining seats are covered with a somewhat lighter translucent paneling which wouldn’t work with the heavy WNY snow loads.
  16. I said something to my Dr about that part on commercials, she laughed and said isn't that the most ridiculous thing to tell you not to take something you've never had ! lol
  17. It’s not you, but remember the NFL is not like any normal employer/employee relationship. These guys careers are super short and they are paid at the very top of their profession. There’s little cap wiggle room, or player appetite for that matter, for keeping players on at a reduced salary.
  18. He didn’t campaign on releasing the files. He always said “we’ll look at it yes but…..” The issue has become a symbol for revealing the Deep State and that we don’t have a 2 tiered justice system. You want to suddenly now believe Trump is on the “list” that Biden and Harris had just 10 months ago - you go right ahead and believe that. A “list” they had in 2016, 2020, and 2024. You’re not asking the right questions. It’s because your side belittled this investigation for years - and why you saw and still see virtually zero mainstream media pressure or coverage on it. MAGA pressure on Trump will get it done. You better dump your Microsoft stock. The Royal Family is also in deep ***t. Bill Clinton will end up in jail. That’s how all this was always going to go.
  19. I think your the first person to answer the OP's question 1. Who's your coach?
  20. If Trump’s not involved, then why the delay in releasing the information he campaigned on?
  21. I think I see the Anchor Bar !
  22. It's one piece of Corning Gorilla Glass, they will drop it in in one piece
