Man the preseason is going to be a crap show on offense. its going to be 12 quarters of Mike White throwing to White Steve.
-
It’s a bit comical that Samuel is constantly hurt already. When on the field, healthy, he actually looked good late last year, but this staff hanging onto that hope is starting to look like wishful thinking.
-
That’s always a wonderful argument. I’m sure you have had an illustrious career in the NFL.

Shavers first catch is more than you will ever do in all your sport effort in your entire lifetime.

Thinking about the opening day roster, I'm gonna double down on my earlier post about the returners position having a trickle down effect. Besides determining who the returners are, the Bills lost 2 Core 4 Special teamers in Mack Hollins and Quintin Morris. I think there are gonna be mildly surprising roster decisions based on who's playing special teams.
-
They lost Rice in week 4. Lost Pacheco week 2. Lost Hollywood in the preseason. Rotating door at LT all season that couldn’t protect Mahomes. It’s ok to acknowledge that they did a great job getting to the Super Bowl despite those adversities. The division was tough last year. 3 teams came out of there for the playoffs. Until they don’t win it just pencil them in every year as division champs. Just like the Bills in the East.

High ankle sprains can linger all season, brutal.

https://www.kornferry.com/insights/this-week-in-leadership/the-great-wait-for-work For those looking for work, the story couldn’t be worse. Indeed, as of June, the average period of unemployment was 23 weeks, according to the latest US government data, while nearly one quarter of people have been looking in vain for a job for six months. It’s one of the longest waiting periods since the pandemic. “The patience for some is being tested,” says Ron Seifert, a Korn Ferry senior client partner and leader of the firm’s North America Workforce Reward and Benefits group. Such waits are causing mounting frustration for legions of qualified workers who have found themselves filling out dozens, if not hundreds of applications without hearing a word back. Meanwhile, amid a sea of résumés, many corporate leaders say—ironically enough—that they can’t find workers with the right skill sets. Their firms continue to fret about everything from inflation to tariffs, which is delaying a lot of hires. For nearly everyone, the length of unemployment has been climbing steadily before reaching its new, three-year high. But it’s gotten particularly prolonged for certain groups. For men between the ages of 45 and 64, the average time being unemployed is at least 33 weeks, or more than eight months. At the other end of the spectrum, many recent college grads—traditionally some of the most affordable and trainable potential workers—are also finding it tough to get a job fast. The average length of unemployment for a 20- to 24-year-old with a bachelor’s degree is 20 weeks. Biden had great private sector job creation, unlike Trump whose taxes are killing hiring, the economy and American companies

You don’t get it.

Both teams now have a player on watch for the opener… Shakir for us and Likely for the Ravens.
-
Time wise, this is very fortunate. I would expect him to be available for the opener though.
-
He’s been available to the entire league many times after we’ve cut him and nobody has wanted him.
-
What kind of person who for no good reason, refers to a player as a loser? Shavers was an undrafted free agent who's entering his 3rd NFL season. He's made $850,000 in his career. What is your definition of loser?
-
Fine by me. Less chance to suffer serious injury in preseason/camp. sucks that it’s another ankle sprain for him. His ankles are his lifeline on the field

Shakir to miss the next 5 weeks due to ankle

Ugh, ankles can be tricky. Well silver lining is he should be ready week 1, and he/Josh already have a great rapport. Palmer is missing time with a groin, hes more important to get reps IMO. -

So right in time for the opener? Could be worse

Shakir being out for a little really gives opportunity to Jacobs and Moore
