Too many government experts are not experts at all, I personally know 2 people who are now government "experts" on nuclear weapons, to the point they speak for the US in negotiations with other countries, and they are bright guys but not experts by any reasonable standard.

I wonder if they added a proviso in the offseason about the play before a spike? Or something to try to prevent teams rushing to the line to get a play off before the booth can get a look?

Tampa/Atlanta. Atlanta threw a pass, receiver stepped out of bounds but ran another 6 or 7 yards. Refs spotted ball and Atlanta spiked it to stop the clock. Refs went back and looked at the play where receiver stepped out and re spotted the ball back a few yards and added time back in the clock

Never thought I’d see a thread about a USF QB on here (other than Mike White). As someone who watches every USF game he definitely has the physical size and ability to be an NFL QB but he still struggles with accuracy (I guess the same thing was said about Allen). Great to see him and the program getting national attention.

I agree and I hope they do the same thing with Hairston when he comes back. There will be struggles at first but he’s got the best chance of becoming another legit difference maker on defense. Get him as many reps as possible before the playoffs.

Yeah you said they ranked really highly. They didn’t. 26th in yards per drive 18th in points per drive. 29 in third down %. They ranked highly in forcing turnovers and were otherwise below average to bad.
