  1. Past hour
  2. I have no real statistical basis for this, but I have always thought of Brandon Cooks as a poor man’s Desean Jackson. He seems to me like the type of player that just king of plays his role when he is on a bad team, but elevates his game when the team is actually playing for something. I believe he will give us the best of what he has left, and hopefully that is enough to make a difference.
  3. It's going to be Amari Cooper 2.0. Let's be realistic.
  4. He also understands basic math. Keon: "If the meeting is at 9:00 am, I live 30 minutes away....will I make it on time if I leave at 8:45 am? I don't see why not!"
  5. Should there be a regime change, it would be for the best if both go, not that Beane and McDermott didn’t change the team in a positive way, but they have obviously plateaued in their capacity to go any further as administrators of the team. GO BILLS!!!
  6. Word is, he's still faster and can separate better than Coleman.
  7. It is too easy, to overcook a turkey. 325º @ 17 minutes/Lb. is about right, for my stove. A good thermometer, can be very helpful. An accurate measurement of internal temperature can give you the wanted result. Those plastic 'pop ups' that allegedly indicate doneness, are worse than useless.
  8. Ask me again next Monday..
  9. One of those turkey's didn't quite reach temp so it rode home(unbeknownst to me driving) on the top of our Dodge Ram van. It was pretty well suctioned on there after 70 miles.
  10. I'm interested to watch cooks talk to the media today (assuming he does). Last year when we traded for Cooper, everyone was salivating over him, yet everytime I'd watch him talk to the media, he seemed so checked out to me. I'm genuinely curious if cooks has some fire in him
  11. Good post. I need optimism!
  12. Is James Lofton still available? He's only 69 years old.
  13. Hope he sees it. If he doesn’t, Josh has the ability to make the change.
  14. Frankly I don’t know much about him, other than the normal stuff, the signing certainly won’t hurt, 🤞 GO BILLS!!!
  15. Coaches like to win. Coaches go where they have a QB. Ben Johnson waited 2 years to take a job. He had tons of opportunities. He took Caleb Williams. In contrast, McDermott wasn’t “selecting” which opportunity he wanted. He took the one that was offered. The top guys go to the best situation. The Bills, if they move on, will be the top job along with the Ravens if they move on. You would be starting off with top 3 QBs. That’s the opportunity that you’re looking for.
  16. I told myself I wasn't going to drink today
  17. On this date in Bills history https://fb.watch/DCP81_EIVn/?fs=e
  18. I cook one in the oven, and one in the fryer, every Thanksgiving. We're having 23 guests, for dinner tomorrow. I've deep fried turkey's at several tailgates, as well!
  19. There is the very real possibility that we just remain static and run it back as usual. With the current coach and GM setup I cannot see any difference making OC or DC coming to Buffalo. NE still has huge $ to spend and can attract FA with the winning Vrabel/Maye combination. Jets will have extra picks from their deadline trade deals and have some building blocks at RB/WR/LT/RT at minimum. Assuming Glenn gets to have a year 2 at least. Miami should be starting afresh at both HC and GM and they had enough talent this year to split the games we had played with them. However far we advance this year with the playoffs, should we make it, the regular season next year should be another slog with the other teams in the division being fresher where they are trying to ascend where we are looking to stay afloat, our cap situation isn't great either. So much previous talk was “we need a quarterback” and we have been privileged draft and retain an all-world one but our ceiling has been AFC East champions and AFCCG loser to date and that needs to change. Baltimore is also in the same position, thinking we didn’t have an Ozzie Newsome or Eric DeCosta, they draft “better” than us but they haven’t made it yet either. Going to be so interesting to see who makes the AFCCG this year and how that might alter the AFC landscape next year.
  20. If Cooks can come in just before December and revitalize his career leading the Bills to glory...well it may just inspire another Hallmark Christmas Movie.
  21. It wouldn’t surprise me if Coleman is done altogether as a Bill. As fans, we only hear a little of what’s going on behind the scenes.
  22. All this and we're about to run James Cook 60 times against the Steelers.
  23. Yup that's a good comp too
  24. Santana Moss?
  25. I thought this too But cooks is more a super quick stutter step type wr Lofton was a long striding track star who probably aged better than any wr outside of Jerry Rice It obviously could happen Joey Galloway was a similar archetype wr and had great years in his mid 30s Depends on chemistry too which is massively underrated with QBs and wrs
  26. Until this, I was figuring he would see the field again, be it due to injury or them giving him "one last chance". While Cooks is hardly a world beater at this stage of his career I think to me it's a loud and clear message that they are done with the Coleman experience.
