I lived through the Kelly years thank you very much. Had seasons tickets from 86-96. Four superbowl losses later and approaching retirement age theres only one thing left and Mcdermott can't even get us were Marv got us. Times wasting. Allen will be 30 soon. The biggest mistake would be accepting playoff beatdown after playoff beatdown at the hands of KC. McDermott is not the reason for our success. Allen is.

Sometimes when you flip a coin four times it comes up tails every time (especially when the refs are going to give your opponent the calls just like the NBA stars get). The hall mark of the Bills between Marv Levy and McD was instability. I would rather not flip a coin on a new coach with a chance at going back to that. As I wrote in another thread on this topic a while back; None of us is anywhere near qualified to judge McD (or any other head coach for that matter). Have you ever supervised an organization with over 100 people? I have not. Have you ever lead young men making tens of millions of dollars, with huge egos and incredibly diverse backgrounds and perspectives as a cohesive team? I have not. Have you ever lead an organization in arguably the most competitive industry in the world? I have not. I would recommend you have some faith and enjoy the ride.

Benford should be on it. And I would argue Spencer Brown, but it's hard for linemen to get noticed. Jordan Love, Dak Prescott, and Tua Tagovailoa shouldn't be on the list, in my opinion.

It really depends on Caleb Williams. The reports on him throughout the offseason have not been great, and that's after a rookie season where he showed little to no progress from week 1 to week 18. It's gonna be tough sledding in that division if their QB play is bottom tier. Good news for Ben Johnson is he has no ties to Caleb Williams so if they have to move on from him he'll get a fresh start with the QB of his choice in 2026. Other than that I agree their team looks like one that could be much better than expected, but you can't hide awful QB play if it comes to that.

I don't mean to sound cruel or classist here. Really, I don't. But this is true. COVID shutdowns and home schooling exposed those kids who aren't self-motivated, who don't have parents who value education, who were likely never to succeed on an academic track. It accelerated that natural division; it didn't create it. That's why I'm all for a system that provides second chances: GEDs, community college, etc., for those kids who couldn't stick to it when they were young but who have now found the necessary discipline.

Right, so when they basically take that strategy of ignoring the offense and focusing on the defense this offseason to nearly the maximum, and we get the same result, what is the answer? Do you use all 7 draft picks on defense next year instead of throwing a 6th rounder for a PS WR because Josh couldn’t put up 30+ while the defense forced 2 punts? Like I said, I love McD. I wish 13 seconds had never happened, because he wins a ring there and he is coach for life and probably a HoF coach, and history is completely different. i million Americans died. The only effort that would have significantly reduced that number was mandatory vaccination or at least better adherence. Kids can catch up especially the bright ones. They'll still be brilliant Stanford and MIT engineering etc grads out of the covid crop of kids
