  1. Past hour
  2. The Jets and Browns used him better than Brady could
  3. Brady basically gives each WR a couple routes and tries run the same ***** out of different formations over and over again.
  4. I'd say Brady doesn't have the nuances that other teams have that make these routes successful. Let's be real, most route concepts are widely used. It's the nuances and the little things that are different within them that change on a game to game basis that helps offenses stay ahead of the defenses that see the same things on game film. Brady isn't good enough in this area and he doesn't create enough opportunities in this way for his WRs.
  5. Kromer. He was OC in Chicago when the offense set records his first year, before Cutler crashed.
  6. When are we going to release Joe Brady and McDermott?
  7. Who else did McDermott say is out
  8. It essentially means all 3 units played well. It's coach speak - a way to give an answer without really giving an answer (or blaming a specific unit), and it now feels mandatory for all postgame/sideline interviews. It was brought into the football lexicon by Bill Belichick and is another thing I hate him for.
  9. During the Beane draft years (2018-25), Coleman is the only premium draft pick (Rounds 1-3) used on a wideout. Valuing the 3 rounds at (8-5-3) a reasonable system IMO. Where do the Bills rank? They rank DEAD LAST in the NFL with 5 points!! An average NFL team spent 21 pts on WR. And basically all the top teams (KC, SF, BAL, GB) during this period spent over the average on WR. Even if you included the Traded First rounder for Diggs the Bills rank in the bottom quartile. He doesn't value receivers high enough and that's how you end up in the pickle we're in. And, yes he has not handled the cap well by resigning a bunch of his draft picks believing he had succeeded in drafting well.
  10. Hard to say without seeing full tape. But it often looks like the routes are awful. Multiple players in same area, very slow developing, guys never seem to be full speed,
  11. Dawkins is in concussion protocol
  12. Brady didn’t even use him. He’s probably relieved tbh. We wasted his time
  13. Ironically he got replaced by one of my Immaculate Grid cheat codes: Brandin Cooks.
  14. Highly debatable...
  15. It's because we haven't gotten one that is good enough to make adjustments once DC's figure them out in year 1. It's why the first year Bills go 13 wins and look amazing and 2nd year they go 11 wins and it's way too much of a struggle. It's happened three times in a row now (assuming Bills get to 11 wins which I am guessing is a good bet). If Brady gets fired or gets a HC job, we should not be surprised if the new guy coming in gets us back to 13 wins again in year 1...it's what happens in year 2 that matters to determine if we have a guy that can actually be more than a 1 year wonder.
  16. Anyone get the full Injury report from McDermott’s presser? The website always sends me the link late. Just heard something about Dawkins concussion.
  17. we can in the offseason
  18. I know the word trust has been thrown around a lot, specifically with the WR position. 1. Can you (Josh) trust the guy to win his 1 on 1 matchup, if playing against man. 2. Can you (Josh) trust him to be in the right spot, against zone coverage. If there are issues here, too often with one or the other, or maybe both, you have to look for a more reliable replacement. I guess now we know what role Cooks will be filling, especially with Samuel being hurt all the time.
  19. Who knows anything with Brady. Moore has better numbers than the past few years than Cooks, Hardman, Samuel etc.
  20. Curtis Samuel is one of our worst signings ever. Over paid and can't release him
  21. The problem is they all regress severely. We're not trotting out Nathan peterman at qb. It's one of the best qbs in the league and every single wr regresses.
  22. Might be true. But Diggs was also acting like a bozo at the time.
  23. They only used him for a couple things, just like every other WR. Cooks is gonna come out and run a deep route just like MVS did and just like Hardman did the other week. That sums up Bills deep game
  24. It means design a terrible pass game with the greatest bill qb ever to go along with a craptastic run defense.
  25. It’s true, but you can see why…look what’s happened in Chicago, NE and Denver with the hiring of new, above average coaches. Those teams’ fortunes literally changed overnight. Nine years without much to show for it is a long time to give an NFL regime…I think, if anything, NFL coaches generally are given too much time to prove themselves…
