Game week thread - Bills at Patriots*
Sierra Foothills replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I love that McNair was a good sport about it. If you can't poke fun at yourself, then you probably have some work to do. -
Pre game jitters today, same thing every Saturday.

Because those are the people who are causing increases in diseases that were not a problem a decade ago. I just don’t like it when stupidity takes over. But big pharma!

Week 15, Bills v. Cheats, PREDICT THE SCORE!
Virgil replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Pats 31 Bills 24 Pats come out strong, throwing all over our Benford depleting secondary. Bills start slow as usual, making it 21-7 at halftime. Bills make a game of it, but Pats seal it with a late TD pass. Pats lock up the division, Maye takes MVP lead, and Bills focus on wildcard seeding. -
Why are you so upset about anti-vaxxers getting measles? Yes your choices are informed by Big Pharma. Good for you!

To be fair it could have been a wife veto… I’m sure she already has friends in Philly and/ Detroit coupled with the kids already having friends there. For an older guy that means a lot unless you just want/need the cash from playing. -
No. Absolutely not. To blame this on open boarders is a total cop out. There’s measles outbreaks in pockets all over the country, and guess what? They have the lowest vaccination rates. Florida will likely be the next big outbreak because of the same policies. Illegals have been coming into this country for years and the measles hasn’t become an issure until after COVID. The constant lack of accountability and placing plane by some it too much. I agree. My choices will be informed while yours aren’t.

I got what I was expecting, so I still like him and the company I work for.

When she's good, she's good. When she's bad, she's oh so good!!!

I don't disagree with anything you're saying (I think) other than this part. I don't think the "final two years" of Trump's presidency will be spent fighting impeachments and investigations. His agenda is much larger than that. If you'll recall his own words "this is NOT just another 4-year election." He meant it.

You make your own choices, I'll avoid what I need to avoid.

measles outbreak
Orlando Buffalo replied to Joe Ferguson forever's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
We shouldn't have needed the measles vaccine since we had eliminated measles in the US. Without the open borders we would not have had an issue. That being said I did get my kids the measles shot and would again but it should be my choice. -
It's not a bad roster by no means. It does lack elite playnakers that most Super Bowl champions have. Look at the majority of Super Bowl winners. They have a few playnakers on both sides of the ball. The Bills roster build with a lot of depth works in the regular season. In the playoffs were most teams are close talent wise, the elite playnakers make the difference in winning and losing.

UPDATE 2025 - The Trump economy
SCBills replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Gas prices are down. Food, rent/housing, healthcare all up. Not sustainable and Trump needs to shut the **** up about the stock market. Thats not an accurate gauge on what Americans feel unless you’re completely disconnected from reality, which he currently is. Not all of this is his fault. But he’s in charge and he doubled down on tariffs. He, and by extension, the GOP are who now have to carry this burden. And we can talk about how trash the ACA is and how the subsidies are unsustainable, but once Americans get used to them, it’s political suicide to claw them back. So what are you going to do about it? You can message how technically these were covid era subisidies meant to be “temporary” (wink wink) and how they’re unsustainable. Ok, cool. Thanks. Now what… nobody cares when they get their new rates. Cant rainbows and unicorns message your way out of this. Focus on the economy and work on healthcare affordability in these next 10 months or spend the final two years as President fighting impeachments and investigations. -
Not taking any chances this week. Put $100 on Pats moneyline. That $50 on Bengals last week was almost not enough.

Children should get Measles vaccinations. Also we shouldn’t have had 4 years of open borders. Seems pretty straightforward and both are causing the uptick. No idea why both sides can’t agree on this.
