  1. Past hour
  2. Well for starters, they forced 3 3rd and longs on one drive. Despite playing poorly on that down they were doing their jobs on the first two downs. So it’s not out of this world, mind blown crazy for the Bills to hold them to a FG. You seem to think it would be though.
  3. I'm looking. He is still meh.
  4. What leads you to believe the defense would have been any more likely to make a stop?
  5. Sure. And I never doubted he was a solid pick. I think Hancock can be too. It isn't a knock on those guys. It is a knock on Beane's priorities. Which are third tight end and backup DB over developmental receiver with explosive traits. He just always seems to find something he values more.
  6. Well the Normans did invade. About a thousand years ago.
  7. Tuesday morning reflections.... - There was a ton of bad football in the NFL this week even from some of its stronger teams. Not this game. This was an excellent contest between two talented teams; - The Lions demise was definitely prematurely stated after week 1. Even I dropped them from my tier of potential Superbowl winners. I shouldn't have. This team still has enough talent to go all the way; - Kelvin Sheppard (not someone I immediately had down as future NFL DC when he was a 3rd round pick of the Bills in 2011) and his defense won the battle up front. Limited Henry and then when the Ravens were forced to pass swarmed Jackson; - Meanwhile the Ravens defense missing Madubuike and Van Noy really never got hold of the Lions run game and you do wonder a little bit about their depth on that side of the ball; - All of a sudden Derrick Henry is a fumbler! 3 fumbles in the entire season last year, three in 3 games this year... but the Ravens also need to find a way to get Zay Flowers more involved in the game. While Rashod Bateman is a good player as a defensive coach I am happy with him having 6 receptions if it means Zay Flowers is 2 for 13 yards - he is their game breaker. Both of these teams are still potential Superbowl champions. Even if they both have yet to prove it in the post season.
  8. ....or just raise the bar 6'.....that would've been a doink miss.
  9. Today
  10. Yes he is, they just have to be up multiple scores
  11. Justin Herbert for league MVP? He has to show more work. Way too early for that noise for these media talking heads. Herbert hasn't rushed for TDs. He hasn't lead comebacks against great teams.
  12. There's tons of buzz for Justin Herbert for MVP. As I mentioned elsewhere, in Sunday's win over Denver, analyst Trent Green said he considers Herbert to be the best QB in the NFL. I was shocked and outraged but Green's not the only want who's gravitating towards the new, shiny object with his hot takes. True but their D was more than just assignment sound.
  13. Ravens win. I'm more confident in that since they lost to Detroit this way. Lamar has lost to Josh and Jared. Patrick isn't doing much better.
  14. Hopefully in this next stretch before the KC game, there'll be enough blowouts whereby the cubs can get lots of garbage time reps. Diggs has reached a point in his career where if he's unhappy, he'll keep it to himself. just as Tyreek Hill struggles to control himself so as not to commit career suicide, so too will Diggs. Like you say, the Saints will be up 7-0 on their first possession and there'll be 49 pages in the live game thread before the Bills proceed to dismantle them.
  15. I say make a poll. I don't really know now what is better for us, but I want the Chiefs to lose every game.
  16. I agree with you. That Charger loss was also in Brazil. Would prefer the Chiefs stack up some losses while it is still possible. Questioning how good the Ravens really are. Giving up nearly 40 points a game to very good offenses is troubling for them. That’s not sustainable and they may get quite a few losses along the way.
  17. This week Dolphins fans are complaining about Josh Allen finger guns, and about how the league screwed them by blowing the whistle after he supposedly fumbled the end of half kneeldown. That's what it's like to root for a bad team. Not that I can act innocent, I used to get mad about all sorts of dumb crap when the Pats were dominating us.
  18. No My argument was Allen's INT issue being overstated Then you for some reason asked AI if turnover margin (differential) correlate w winning
  19. I asked about him in this around the league thread Sunday. Was told he looks disinterested or mailing it in. Rewatched the condensed version of that game and I don’t agree entirely but he certainly doesn’t look focused. Don't know what’s going on there for him to be that way but it is a wild slump he’s in indeed.
  20. The discussion wasn't about SB winning QBs, so don't try to derail the discussion because your opinion isn't supported by the facts confirmed by AI. The discussion was about Dorsey as OC, and how the Bills' TOs have dropped since Brady replaced him.
  21. I think KC has a reasonable chance to get to the playoffs regardless of the outcome this weekend. There aren’t 2 playoff teams coming out of the East or South, and possibly North. That leaves 3 teams out of the West by default.
