The Thursday games are criminal but that $$$$ train has left the station. That and still some fields that should be fixed are part of the injury concerns. The NFL will look and speak to many safety concerns but they won’t at the expense of $$$$. Not the playing of international games on inferior fields like the Bills Jags in London. That an egregious safety issue and the league not care.

I have a couple of back-up DEs stashed in my closet -- still in their original packaging.

You bought a car from Curtis Underwood!?

Greg Rousseau has turned out to be a complete slug.

lol….and do those guys in that sack range play amazing d vs the run? sacks sacks sacks sacks sacks there is more to being a good DE than accumulating sacks. Those that get 14+ are going to get 30-50M and some of them play poor run D. Rousseau plays great run D and is a decent pass rusher and is 25 years old. Hes not a star and he isn’t paid like a star. -

26th in the country at around 32 or 33 points per game -
Agree about better shape.....but he is getting long in the tooth....might not be about better shape. Kromer worked some absolute mastery there in Pitt. I do not think that is sustainable but after reading the Timmah Graham The Athletic article about Kromer I am beginning to believe he could take my mother and her bridge team and do some damage!!!

Montana State just handled Yale. On to the next. Go Cats!!! -
DD played poorly vs Texans and got hurt in that game. I think I would need to see way more of VDM before I say it’s an upgrade. DD moves early as LT speed rush is a concern. I’d like to see him get in better overall shake in the off season. But both OTs played well enough for the Bills not to panic if they need to start.

I don't know how good/bad the 'Bama offense typically is but that Georgia D looks like it's about 2 series away from starting to actually hurt some people. -

Georgia Nebraska in the SEC championship game is unprecedented! -
Thanks for sharing. It's tough to compare the impact of injuries across the NFL, so this is probably as good as it gets to achieving that. And yeah, losing your starting QB is way more impactful than any other position, so that makes sense. The other tough thing to quantify is players playing hurt. We've had plenty of hobbled players who suit up, but can't play to their normal level. Last year he was elite for sure. Not even a question. He was really, really good. This year he has regressed a bit.

Josh averages 6.5 runs per game. Only 2-3 are designed runs. Some are just QB sneaks on short yardage. It seems to make him more engaged in games. I actually think he needs to take off more when he’s had some chances outside the pocket. It’s part of his skill set. But 2-3 designed runs typically in red zone is ok with me.

Go Duke! JMU getting a playoff spot would be nuts -
I don't think you are allowed to say nice things about the coaches and staff. You have to call for them to be fired. You are only allowed to say nice things about Josh Allen. Maybe he gets a penalty here and there, but he is still a really good player. He was ELITE last year. One of the best in the NFL. He hasn't been as good this year, but he is still a good starter.

I do have to disagree. Some positions are in much higher demand than others. In most drafts you can get a quality starting S in the 3rd round. And I mean guys who will start and play as rookies and grade in the middle of the pack. The same for RB and C, and somewhat less so for G.

Touting the O line as top tier but not as good as last year (when I don’t think they were among the best) isn’t supported by the results. Yes the WR room stinks, but it’s not materially different from last year, minus Dalton, who had a depressed sophomore effort last year anyway (was better this year before he went out, granted). Palmer is a WR 3/4 basically swapped for Hollins. His 3+ targets per game aren’t the difference…

Hopefully Fox is a prime Bruce Smith in disguise..... Honestly, no expectations for either player. We know what Spector is and there's a reason Fox was on the couch a few weeks ago. But hey..... we need bodies. Hopefully they can provide something of substance while they are out there. -

Definitely Canton bound some day, hopefully a ring (or 4) will cement his legacy. -
i believe that Buffalo will make the playoffs as a wildcard, leading to the next question as to where you would be apprehensive to play. New England - An in division opponent, so no location issues a familiar foe. Denver - A long way to travel, time zone difference, altitude adjustment, problematic D but Josh Allen will be super motivated remembering Bradley Chubb/Elway. Jacksonville - They are kind of being overlooked and nobody "fears" them, they keep winning, another score to settle remembering the Tyrod postseason game. Baltimore - I would not feel good travelling there but they are much more variable in performance this year versus the past. Chargers - Similar to Jacksonvile but they don't really have a home field advantage but it'll be a long way to travel. Indianapolis - It will be loud but it is indoors and not too far to travel, you would fear Taylor more than Jones. Houston - The place to ideally avoid, never won there with McD and it will be difficult to be confident against that D. Don't want them to win the South. Pittsburgh - If they make it as the North winners somehow nobody will fear them. Cincinnati - Very unlikely that they would make it as North winners but how I'd feel probably would depend on what happens this week. Category 1 - Feel somewhat confident - NE LAC IND PIT Category 2 - Neutral - JAX BAL CIN Category 3 - Please avoid - DEN HOU We will not play away at Miami or KC if they make it. Need NE to slip up and maybe there is a remote chance to take the division?!
