  1. Past hour
  2. who did Chase set the market for? who else got that money? your whole premise is that the WR market is "actually insane" because the top 5 WR's are making a few points more of the cap than they were in 2018? that's checking in at something less than insane for me.....
  3. lol the top WR salary was a percentage of the cap. Now you are getting into apples and orangutans comparisons.
  4. The cap has risen 56% over the time that top WR % went up 3%. There is 1 WR making what Chase is making. No other WR contact signed in 2025 was close to his AAV. so we are comparing outliers.
  5. My gf is buying her dad gifts but won't get my anything even though she calls me daddy all the time
  6. so we can hear them formulating their bad calls? what problem does this solve? Half the viewers will say "yup--that's how I saw it, good call!" the rest will cry and say they are incompetent and the league's fixed. same results.
  7. He wouldn’t have gotten a salary of $1M in FA. I didn’t mention you could or couldn’t talk about anyone. Not sure what argument you’re trying to have. Except for Diggs who we did pay massively with his extension in 2022. You can’t even get the basic facts straight to have whatever discussion you think you’re having.
  8. multiplying his yards per target by an imaginary and impossible number of targets really doesn't make much of an argument. By your thinking, it would make more sense to target Coleman over Shakir. If Coleman had 160, he would have had over 1500 yards.....
  9. Dam Kelly's wind up throwing the ball is so slow
  10. Um, no. Me: "Cooper indeed wasn't a free agent. Which has nothing to do with how much he was paid and which team acquired him. We got him. Cheap. Other teams didn't. We did." You: "Cooper being traded for at his existing salary, which was less than $1M instead of being a free agent signing had EVERYTHING to do with how much he was paid by the Bills." Yeah, as a careful reader will immediately note, that's you missing my point. I said him not being a free agent had nothing to do with how much he was paid. Trade or FA, you acquire a guy with a salary of less than $1M and that's all that matters to your argument, not that we had to trade something away to get him. You misunderstand and argue that the salary he was paid affected ... what, um, the salary he was paid? Yeah, um, DUH!! Redundant and unresponsive much? You were trying to legislate out trades, because they didn't fit your narrative. Not all trades by the way, just the ones you found inconvenient to your argument. We can apparently talk about Diggs, according to you, but not Cooper, because he's not convenient for the thrust of your argument. So then I point out that your argument is about money, not about whether the Bills traded something away to acquire the contract. You skip right past that and pretend ... I guess your argument was that "his existing salary ... had EVERYTHING to do with how much he was paid by the Bills," apparently trying to assume that I didn't know that his salary equalled his salary? Yeah, I was pretty aware of that. I can't imagine anyone not being aware of it. The Bills strategy since they got here has been pretty consistent. Go after WRs you don't have to pay massively for, not the massive splash types. Trades, FA, whatever, don't swing for the fences financially for WRs. And even more so with RBs. Use TEs and RBs to try to fill in the pass game. And again, they have had tremendous offensive success with this approach.
  11. Josh obviously thought not. How many WRs had at least 586 snaps vs how many got over 160 targets? Allen was clearly forcing targets Diggs's way--look what happened in Digs's yardage over his Buffalo career--all over 150 targets. 350 fewer yards.
  12. On the flip side, the Bills haven’t beaten New Orleans at home since 1983. 0-4 Weird
  13. You are such a fvvvckin moron. Grow a brain, for once, Karen.
  14. Just as crazy as storming the capital on Jan 6 where cops were attacked? Pretty much. Have the online MAGA influencers called for this shooter to get a pardon yet? He killed in the name of being a "Pro-Life" guy, right?
  15. We really need to celebrate that mid 60s team. That defense was historic and made the 2000 Ravens look about good. The 64-66 defense was consistently great and went 17 games without allowing a single rushing TD including the championship game. They would've easily stopped a hungover and washed up Max McGee lol. KC got reeeeeeeeal lucky they even got to sniff the Pack's jock that day, whereas Jack Kemp's Bills would've changed history.
  16. Watch Jim's delivery on the deep ball. VERY underappreciated when it comes to deep ball throwers. Over the top, on target and in the bucket. That is what I said in another thread, if Josh wants to get better at the deep ball, he has to change his throwing motion to a little more over the top.
  17. Yea. Dorian wouldn't see it if you ran it 5 times straight. If he can play run and hit football he is a playmaker. If you make him think after the snap he is screwed. For sure better means more than physically better.
  18. Great post, using facts and excellent reasoning here, along with very good writing. So, no contest here. The guy had said the same exact thing about running backs just a few months ago that he is now saying about wide receivers! And with the same kind of shoot from the hip, facts be da*ned, bizarre reasoning to 'back' his ideas up. Now, 'never mind', it's the wide receivers who should never be payed! Your "for a tremendous offense" comment will likely send all of the rest of the bashers into another fit, of course. Shoot, the Bills may have the best offense in NFL history this coming season, after having the best in the NFL last year.
  19. As is most of the time, I wanted to reply, but you summed it up excellently, sir.
  20. We were at that Vikings game in the endzone where the kick hit the top of the cross bar then bounced over. We won in OT with a long pass to Peerless then the FG.
  21. The Defenders have a small but active fan group thanks to The Beer Snake. https://www.theufl.com/news/dc-defenders-beer-snake-facts
  22. I’m still waiting for these dumb ret@rded leftists to point to just “ONE” thing the Orange menace said that was racist.
