  1. Past hour
  2. so many people who post here are ***** insane, the Bills are not going to pay a non QB 45 million a year to play here. AND trade picks?
  3. Its tough because he has been impressive, imo, up until today .. and even today, I’m not overly bothered by it. Now if it drags on… The bigger issue is that a lot of us don’t view spending big money on a RB as smart cap asset management. So, while hes doing everything (for the most part), the right way - he’s still raking the team over the coals for every last penny as a running back. Which means potentially no McGovern and Edwards next year, instead of just one gone. Stuff like that. Maybe if Bosa has a great year and we want to extend, same with Milano.. this deal could throw a wrench in those as they would likely be shorter term deals. So, long story short, when you ask what you asked.. some of us are just ready to throw our hands up super quick (and that’s unfair to Cook) because we really don’t want to pay a RB that type of money.
  4. Throw in AJ and a draft pick
  5. I don't think I've ever heard a player actively sit in and call it business just because they don't want to get hurt. It's football, for better or worse injuries will happen. Also this body language doesn't scream "I wanna be here". It, to me, says "I'm only here so I don't get fined." and has nothing to do with injury.
  6. Western Europe is approaching 3rd world status
  7. Maybe they are getting the injuries out of the way early this season ? Not a great start
  8. Not sit on a damn bike and say "business".
  9. Respectfully I'm not sure I buy your first point. I was just using Edwards and McGovern as examples. If you're a good receiver, you're going to be playing in the nfl for 10 years. But yet they hold out all the time in contract years.
  10. I told you guys to draft a wide receiver #1 but noooooo
  11. A running back in the NFL has ONE chance for the most part to get paid. Linemen have 10 plus year careers. It's not the same. A running back takes more of a beating than Iinemen. Linemen deliver the beating.
  12. It’s certainly to prevent injury. Either that is to save himself for the regular season so that he can perform well when it matters and increase his value for free agency, or because the deal is imminent and doesn’t want it pulled if he went down. Either scenario is good for the Bills, with how he has been practicing and just decided to stop, I think the latter is probably more likely.
  13. Love this song and video. Unanimously liked by everyone I know that knows of it
  14. Call Dallas and make a deal for Parsons and move on
  15. I hope that’s what it turns out to be
  16. Yea, a very realistic possibility that the deal is close and so he is not risking injury prior to it being signed.
  17. Imagine if every single player had that mindset though. Didn't practice because it was "business "? I am sure McGovern, David Edwards and guys like that are worried about injuries in a contract year. But they still show up and practice
  18. The ska/pop/rock/punk of the 90's produced some great music
  19. That was my plan as well -buy another Ego and I have a backup battery for both. But the weight/size of the lawn mower battery makes me question whether it plugs into Ego's weed whacker. TBH, I got the electric mower in large part anticipating the upcoming ban on gas blowers/whackers.
  20. Or.... It's just business. It's in his financial and personal best Interest to go into the season 100%, and to have an amazing year. He has witnessed quite a few injuries at camp. He is there. So he's working out and in meetings. Seems like it's nothing personal and just business
