  1. Past hour
  2. That’s what I’m saying, if they allow beane to rebuild the team and allow McD to remain the HC, nothing will change. It will be the same broken team and same broken philosophy
  3. I know its easier said than done and reasons why blah blah but... Maybe overpaying for a top WR may be worth it
  4. It was fun for me when the Pats were far away in the rearview. Now we are the object in the mirror but not appearing close.
  5. Cook was gassed at that point. Braindead decision imo
  6. This upcoming offseason, see If Buffalo can hire Tom Moore away from Tampa, as he was Payton Manning's mentor. If that's a no, then perhaps Jim Caldwell, who is a senior assistant at Carolina.
  7. Despite turnovers, sloppy tackling, and a lack of teeth in our DL aside, I think what really killed us was the missed extra point (no longer an automatic for us) and the holding calls on kick-off returns that routinely gave us poor field possession on most drives (other than that spectacular run back by Davis). Barring these goofs, we should have at least been able to tie the game at the end with a FG, instead of having to go for the TD.
  8. How about running a 4-3 with Milano, Thompson and Williams as the backers? At least with respect to run-heavy teams. Bonus: takes Taron Johnson off the field.
  9. We have MVP QB but that is pretty much it. Josh doesn't look good. Both our offense and defense are very mediocre... Hope we make playoff this season. I am already looking forward for the next season. We definitely need coaching changes at the end of the season
  10. I've never been on the fire McDermott train but I'm looking at the price of tickets now.
  11. I know a guy who said this was a championship roster only a couple weeks ago. That in and of itself is a problem. If someone can look at this roster and say that in his judgement -good enough. The sad thing is just bringing in a better WR would have had a domino effect on this team. There's still holes, but it would make a difference to an offense that is folding.Fire Beane
  12. Josh Allen masks 90% of this team's problems.
  13. I think the betting world overvalues the Bills and so the lines are often not realistic. The causal fan gets excited when Allen goes off and those that were not paying attention thought this was going to be an easy game. Houston has a darn good defense and excellent defensive coaching. Our offensive coaching and play calling isn't great and Allen's bad habit of holding onto the ball too long is the exact wrong thing to do against Houston. I agree the Miami loss was a whole 'nother story, as was the Falcons to a good degree. This team is tired and lacks talent, it's that simple to me. I hope they can get something around Allen eventually but I'm not that optimistic. This year could easily go south with all the road games coming up.
  14. I’m saying can it get worse if we fire everybody
  15. Thought it was, if he got us into this mess, he has to get us out. At least that's what my Dad always yelled at me... Er, suggested calmly. (& I tried to just go).
  16. And who even cares Beane will do something stupid with the pick. Another tweener, fragile DL inbound! And if you don't like that guy, he'll pick 5 more just like him
  17. Bit of revisionist history regarding the New England game. NE was not “clearly the better team”. We had more yards and certainly could have won that game even though we played a poor game. Horrifically bad calls against us in the first half and three turnovers lost us the game. Before the season, I thought going into Houston on a short rest would be difficult and counted that as a loss. No excuse for Atlanta or Miami however.
  18. Get ready for the "Golly, you could do worse... I seem to remember the drought!" arguments. The fact that we're having those arguments shows that this build didn't get the job done. Giving McDermott another 2-3 years accomplishes nothing. They should fire Beane today but I get waiting until the season plays out. It would be pretty dumb to fire your GM then the team makes it to the Super Bowl. I get that. But the day our season ends assuming it's not a deep playoff run he needs to be let go. McDermott is the guy who sets the tone, wants a certain kind of offense (which is why he and Daboll didn't get along) and has fired coordinator after coordinator during his time here. The buck stops with him. Do we really expect yet another OC (who will almost certainly just be promoted from within) to be different in any kind of meaningful way? Imagine having an all-time great QB yet every one of his OCs gets fired. Not leaves for HC jobs. Fired. Because the offense cannot pass the ball with that QB .
  19. As any forward looking investment presentation or marketing materials will clearly indicate: "Past performance doesn't guarantee future returns."
  20. It is time for a reboot. Thank Sean for the massive initial improvement the organization showed under his leadership, but we've reached his ceiling.
  21. Exactly. What could go wrong with another internal hire?
  22. Yes it's time for a change. It's not working with this coaching staff. Firing coordinators is not enough. They did that already. The one common denominator is still here. I don't want Beane making the decision on a new HC either.
  23. They still are as they simply need a better offensive game planner/play caller. With that, the Bills beat up the Falcons, Texans, and Dolphins. Probably even the Patriots. This getting blown out By bad teams has gotta end...Miami and Atlanta had no business even being on the same field, as it should have been easy wins.
