  1. Past hour
  2. I wish this was true but they’ll still win the division. Rice is a really good WR and Andy Reid will get the most out of Worthy when healthy. Mahomes has taken a step back but the NFL will do its part to ensure any close game goes team Swifts way. But I’m definitely hopeful that LAC “charges” full steam ahead and wins the division
  3. Safety wasn’t the correct narrative to discuss with this play. Yes, it looks dangerous and somebody will likely get rolled up and hurt bad eventually but officiating is a way bigger issue as far as game integrity. The AFC championship should have been the catalyst. Poor officiating on that play could have cost us a Super Bowl birth. Not sure how that didn’t become bigger news in the push to get this play banned. You just can’t see the ball to even spot it. Then this Offside crap. It’s microseconds as far as the movement. This is starting to feel Patriot like in some ways. Then you say, how big is it to the Eagles success? It’s pretty damn big. I think we will be just fine. But that teams is basically playing 1st down and 9 to everybody elses 10 and ya, it adds up. If the play can’t be officiated correctly it has no place.
  4. 75-man rosters plus some rules changes, elimination of preseason, and more, will be necessary to grow the season beyond where it is currently without seriously turning the NFL into a battle of attrition and "load management."
  5. Investing a 1st round pick in the 2024 draft would have been the bills trading up a few picks to get Brian Thomas Jr. instead of trading back a couple times into the 2nd round for whatever WR remained. And I like how Coleman is developing I just wish the Bills took the WR position as seriously in the draft as they try to with the D line
  6. The lot opens at 2 pm per their Official Facebook Group, so that would do.
  7. Thanks! Just what was looking for. We of course were planning on seeing the whole Pinto Ron experience! I just didn’t know if I could park in Hammers lot or if it was always sold out. If we get to Hammers by 2pm I should get a spot?
  8. We’ve also had numerous chances to draft WRs and instead continually invest in the D line. We’re banging our heads against the wall thinking if we get that one D lineman that can become Chris jones we will win a SB instead of investing in a WR who can create separation for Josh in key moments and maybe come up with a catch to win us the game. Passing on WRs with big upside like Troy Franklin for high character nobodies like Dwayne Carter is the definition of what the McBeane regime does. Even this year let’s hope that trading up for another DT in sanders was the right call instead of trading up for Luther Burden. Probably won’t know for another year or so. I just hope they can change course and finally get that they need to invest around their biggest asset, Josh Allen. Great job on the O line now get our boy some real weapons.
  9. You'll have to get to the stadium about 6 hours early, but for the true Bills tailgating experience, you can't beat Hammers Lot. It's basically across the street from the stadium, right next to the new stadium. I think it's $60 to park. Pinto Ron has his ketchup and mustard ceremony there. Bowling ball shots. (I won't tell if you let your 19 yr old have a bowling ball shot.) That would be my suggestion. You would have to take the 219 to 20A, head west towards the stadium, then make a right on Abbott and Hammers Lot will be on your left.
  10. This might also speak to Beane's habit of NOT aggressively adding to a position of strength when a potentially special prospect is inconveniently available. He has often seemed to reach around (forgive me) higher graded players at positions of lesser immediate "need" in order to address more glaring needs with potentially lesser prospects. And then when he does double-dip, we get an ahemboogiebasham that doesn't seem like great fit or value. That's just one example, but BPA is NOT AT ALL Beane's draft philosophy. Which is a mistake imho when your team is successful and therefore perennially at the back of the line. Gotta grab BPA year over year in order to hit more home runs and wind up with more difference makers. Again, in my humble and limited opinion. Edit: this is not intended to characterize Beane as a bad drafter. Far from it. Just not someone playing the long game year after year. And I mostly get the reasons for that IRL wrt to cap and roster management. But you have Josh Freaking Allen, so why not swing for the fences more often.
  11. You aren’t imagining it. Chiefs skill positions players in general have been garbage for the past 2 years. Kelce has been dropping some very catchable balls. Mahomes just doesn’t have enough firepower and I don’t think they win their division this year.
  12. It’s absolutely crazy that you spend the whole year missing and waiting for football to come back and this time tomorrow we will have already played 3 games. It goes so fast. Anyone that has issues with more games is insane. I wish the season was 25 games. This is way too short
  13. Reminder it was the affiliate groups who forced this decision by ABC...................It was a market decision. ABC Suspends ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ “Indefinitely” Over Charlie Kirk Comments The network’s decision comes after affiliate group Nexstar said it would pull the late-night show, and after the chairman of the FCC suggested he might take action against ABC. Jimmy Kimmel‘s late-night talk show is being suspended at ABC over his viral comments about Charlie Kirk. A network spokesperson said Wednesday that Jimmy Kimmel Live! will be “pre-empted indefinitely.” The network’s action came just after Nexstar, one of the biggest owners of local TV stations in the country — including 28 ABC affiliates — said it will pre-empt the series for the immediate future. A source said that ABC had also heard from at least one other station group about the show, suggesting that an affiliate revolt may have played a role in the decision. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/abc-suspends-jimmy-kimmel-live-charlie-kirk-1236374150/
  14. I can say from my perspective, I don't attempt to categorize the Diggs trade into a draft pick discussion because I can't track down all the rest of the draft pick trade for players and input that information. Same for Kincaid. I understand he is a receiving TE, but I'm not going to try and categorize all of those types and put some sort of value to weight that as a WR investment. Logical sure, hard to do with analytics and not introduce my opinion. I will also add this look is from 2021 on, so it is outside the Diggs window. But also likely impacted 2021/2022 etc, as we acquired him reducing the need for higher investment. So if one wants to go down the discussion of us actually investing a lot more than what the pure draft picks show, certainly a conversation you could have.
  15. Nice view there. Torrence absolutely manhandled his guy, driving him way outside. Thing of beauty.
  16. So I agree with this, Diggs should be counted as a 1st round investment. Yeah it's not exactly the same as drafting a rookie WR but it feels like pointless semantics to argue that it doesn't count. The combined offseasons of 2019 and 2020 was really the last time Beane made it a point to invest in the position. The result was a very effective three headed monster spearheaded by Allen coming into his own. Since 2020 though it's impossible to deny the lack of investment. I feel better about the strategy right now than I did 18 months ago but I definitely still have my doubts.
