I don’t get some people here. If it were your business and you needed a replacement, and could hire a former employee that knows how your business runs vs. someone with no clue, what would you do? It is a practice squad thing. You would have to have Milano, Williams, Buffalo Loe all out before you’d get to that point.

McDaniel on very thin ice with Dolphins owner

Make him our OC -
A lot of the teeth gnashing about the offense is because they have to be perfect since the defense isn't doing their jobs, whether or not people want to admit that.
-
I would rather keep a good defensive coach who took two Mark Sanchez-led teams to the AFCCG out of the division. He'll build a physical roster that will give us problems on offense.

Ridiculous stat that sums up the secondary play

I think his best days are behind and sadly now he is aging faster then ice melting. -

Always sandal weather in South Florida. -
Despite his incredible arm Josh has never been great with the deep ball. Most people think a great arm automatically means a great deep ball but that's not the case. A Russ Wilson moon ball is easier to track and catch than a laser with limited arc.

Think of all the feet. -
This was very predictable though disappointing. With injuries we need another LB so we bring in a guy who isn’t good and is always injured but hey he knows this extremely complicated defense that would take anyone else (besides opposing offenses) months to learn

You know it's a bad move if even Jets fans are going to have a good laugh about it. Imagine trying to "build a bully" in the land of nightclubs and Instagram butt models. -
If it wasn't for Diggs bailing out maye, all game long, maye's performance would have been considered mediocre. Throw in the non international grounding calls, and it would have been below ave.

What a concise and easy to read link. Ryan would be the ideal replacement for McDaniel (for the Bills).

Random talking head says something about the Bills

Yep. he didn’t go by record with this shtick. It eye test. and throughout the show he think KC has a very good O an solid D. Once they button it up. Conversely he is very down on the Bills. Which maybe is perfect, they play better with a chip on their shoulders -
I thought he might get fired this week. That loss to Carolina was a bad one.
-
Huh?
-
The tape is certainly out there now on defending Maye when he rolls right (something we didn't really adjust to). It's where he has his most effectiveness. I think he's a really good QB - but our D just made him look a level better than he is right now.
-
Trading the Worthy pick to KC was a great example of this hubris.

NOOOOOOO Just when I thought we had rid this bum forever

I'm not sure what context these stats show. Air yards or just the results? Because there have been several short screens or check downs that our guys have busted for big plays. Doesn't necessarily mean we are pushing the ball down the field. Here's the thing.....I think the narrative itself of pushing the ball down the field is kind of overblown. What I want to see is more consistency in the intermediate areas of the field.....that 15-20 yard area and I want to see that consistency come from on-time plays within the structure of the offense. So many times, Allen scrambles, buys time until someone finally comes open. Seems like it is a rarity that Allen drops back, plants his feet, and fires a laser 15 to 25 yards down the field. You'd think if teams are playing to prevent you from getting over the top, there would be room to roam in these mid-level distances. But that's not happening with consistency. So, no....I don't need to be chucking the ball 40+ yards down the field on a regular basis, but it would be nice to see more success in the intermediate levels within the structure of the offense instead of relying on Shakir or Cook to bust one after the catch.

We have among the worst.
-
The answer to that, was throwing Cook the ball in the flats/over the middle. Get him in space and let him cook.

I do think there’s a level of arrogance there that’s tough to overcome. There is a belief that “we know better” that leads us to bringing guys like Phillips and Spector back. I’d love them to just bring in guys that are better, even if they haven’t been in the system before.

If it's soo complicated how has every offensive coordinator in the NFL figured it out? 🤣
