Currently $2 Billion via $200 Million. I would not be at all surprised that Terry is looking for an exit ramp from the Sabres nightmare, but easier said than done.

I was to Letchworth as a kid, and honestly I think I remember it more from the slides than from actually being there. But everything I remember and hear is that it is stunning. Maybe we can make this an annual adventure before the Bills opener each year, go explore the area. We are going to Niagara on the Lake also, and I’ve never been there either. I left WNY for college when I was 17 and didn’t see all of what there was to offer. .

It's possible for the Sabres but highly unlikely. As bad of an owner as Pegula has been the Sabres were still his "first love" before the Bills. If they go up for sale I can see a stipulation similar to Wilson (or even Golisano) that a buyer must commit to keeping the team in Buffalo. You have to remember that despite the dismal status of the Sabres, the franchise is worth 1.1 billion per Forbes. Pegula has made a very nice return on his original 160 million investment. I'm not entirely convinced he is looking to sell. The arena upgrades are going to be the big determinant. I think Pegula is biding his time knowing NYS just invested so much in the Bills stadium and realizing his hockey club needs to become more competitive before asking for public funding. Regardless, Buffalo is such a strong hockey market that it is very difficult to believe the NHL would want to see the team relocated whatever Pegula decides to do.

It’s funny, my wife is excited for the Bills opener and everything else we have planned, but when she saw video of the Gorge she got super excited. She’s a mountain girl at heart and we try to go to the NC mountains for her birthday each year. This is perfect for her!
