1994 - Kelly & Reed vs Favre & Sharpe - NFL Throwback
BillsPride12 replied to BigDingus's topic in The Stadium Wall
I vividly remember wanting to go to this game so bad as a kid...on top of being a Bills fan I really liked those Packers teams with Favre and Sharpe too. Nope my parents didn't get my tickets to it....thanks for stirring up some unresolved childhood PTSD -
You're right. The 2nd round is where you want to draft premium position players like Metcalf. I think there's only about a 50% bust rate with WR in the 2nd round. Here's hoping Coleman isn't one of those. I was talking about more where we draft in the late 2nd. I think we got Cook at 63 maybe? Rounds 3 through 4 are fine too especially in a running back by committee approach like the Bills have. We drafted Cook because of his speed and pass catching ability knowing we had Singletary/Moss that were more run between the tackle backs with some power. You'd try and find another RB like that to compliment Davis and maybe even Ty Johnson if he sticks around.

They absolutely have to bring these uniforms back. I think we all deserve to see Buffalo win a Super Bowl in them. -

Spent a full week in Charleston last year. Lots of fun, had a great time! Food was awesome, saw a show, the shopping was great, did several tours. Hotel was close enough by foot to do daily Mass which was also cool. Even took in a minor league baseball game! Sorry you got a bad spot and are in a bad mood because of it. It was one of my better vacations since the 'Covid Era' ended. -
28 isn't old. Some guys take longer to develop. Is he good or isn't he?

Isnāt that a great way for people to justify everything they do as being righteous? no matter if itās assaulting/murdering people, fire bombing businesses, or indoctrinating kids to mutilate their genitals⦠They never have to answer for their deeds, because the other side is Hitlerā¦smh Can somebody say āCultā?

Joe Brady says Dalton "lived here this offseason"
BillsFanForever19 replied to sunshynman's topic in The Stadium Wall
That may be so. It still makes essentially calling it a Pipe Dream that either can be anything more than we've seen from them in Year 1 or Year 2 of their development kind of ridiculous. -

And it was a Trump supporter. These idiots spent all morning getting ahead of the inevitable. Look at them melt. -
Wait, the CFL merged with another US league? Or they just opened some expansion US teams? Either way, I had no idea! That's pretty cool, thanks for the heads up

Was going through old game footage & figured I'd post this one. Allen is such a great & unique talent that it's almost easy to let hyperbole take over & downplay how great Kelly was. His rhythm, the timing, the way he throws, and just how quick he was is a thing of beauty to watch. He escapes pressure not with his feet, but by being so quick to get the ball out of his hands (much like Brady). He knows when & where guys are going to be, then just as he hits the final step of his drop, the ball is released. If not, he takes a few steps in one direction & then lets it rip. Can't forget Reed either. He was all over the field making plays. A true WR1 that could out-physical anyone. Him & Kelly out-dueled Favre & Sharpe, and I'm glad I stumbled across this game. Also, I don't see how anyone can think these unis weren't beautiful! Hard to not feel nostalgic seeing that field, the red endzones, the red helmets + blue jerseys, man... it's criminal we don't use these as throwbacks. Anyway, hope someone out there enjoys as much as I did!
