Both Bishop & Kincaid will be Utah busts. While Josh is in his prime, we just afford these high pick misses. When we settle for blatantly mediocre players like Hamlin or the possible return of Gabe, we send a message to our fanbase that knowing the system takes precedent over playmakers.

The Safety play this preseason has been comical. Theres not one positive thing I can take away from these two games aside from the potential of Jordan Hancock next year because McDermott won’t play him with his ultra-complicated wizard level Safety requirements.

He’s better in the playoffs than Marty ever was, but he can’t go 0-5 against the Chiefs without being replaced. It would be time for a new voice and direction, because clearly McD can’t get it done for whatever reason.

Kirk Cousins, Jimmy G, Daniel Jones, Jake Browning, Marcus Mariota, Andy Dalton, Jacoby Brisset, Gardner Minshew, Cooper Rush, Zach Wilson, etc. Russell Wilson at this point (even though he is technically starting, but he is basically a backup level QB now). Tyrod Taylor is still maybe above average as a backup. I was actually really hoping the Bills would sign Zach Wilson as a backup. He is athletic and has a big arm. He is a good kid and would probably really benefit from being with a strong organization and Josh Allen. I think he would be a good backup.

This ties into my position about McD scheme and philosophy. It’s too complicated or they can’t find ALL the right players to run it. We hold poyer and Hyde as the STANDARD. They WERENT good enough in their time here! They got bounced by kc multiple times and Cincy. So like to hope that we get ANOTHER Hyde and poyer is selling this idea short. I’m at . And have been. NEW D or new Coach.

Ugh….it’s pretty sickening to have a great quarterback, one of the best to ever play the game, and not be able to at least reach the SB. It’s through no fault of his own, it’s this damn defense that constantly sucks and we have, supposedly, one of the defensive coach mind in the league. Yet somehow his defense keeps getting beat by an offensive minded head coach who apparently can coach a defense better as well as handle the offense. This is just sickening. I’m not sure what the next move should be, but should we have gotten rid of McDermott a while ago? He’s not a bad coach or a bad guy for that matter, but is this a similar situation to Tampa firing Dungy and hiring Chuckie to vault them into the SB?

Why the heck are we trying to put Bishop at Free Safety anyway? He’s a strong safety and should be either replacing Rapp or Rapp’s backup. What happened to that Forrest guy we signed?

Josh has an elite oline, great run game, good TE's, and role players at WR. You're not going to pay a top tier QB, and then have star players at every other position group. This formula has been proven to work on offense. I'm much more concerned with the continued investment in defense falling flat. If this rookie class doesn't hit the ground running it's going to be the same stroy.

There’s a lot of media talk about how he should be replaced if he doesn’t get to the SB this year, but most especially if he loses to the Chiefs again. We know the media doesn’t make decisions, but they can drive up pressure, and get fans on their side as well. McD likely knows he has to be a bit more forward with the players now, put a light under them.

Yea he’s just gotta be tighter in coverage. I think at this point his head is spinning / he’s over thinking and doubting. coaches got to get him right.

What does that say about the rest of the WRs outside the top 3 on our roster that the Bills FO are considering him? You people act like there's a bunch of perennial all pro WRs just sitting at home on the couch waiting for a call. This isn't madden.

These two preseason games have looked like the pro's vs the amateur's. Our Safeties, even though it is just preseason, have been horrible. Late to the ball, can't cover, no speed. Can't believe they allow this type of game play on the practice field or in a preseason game. There is not a single positive take away from our Safeties this preseason when you are getting beat down by the other team the way we have been so far. Yes we don't want people hurt but wow has this been ugly football, if you are a DB.. or safety. We need to find a stud back there at safety, IMO Bishop and Hamlin are 2nd string all day long. Never liked either as a option to be a potential starter.

Right now it looks like 42-10 with them Monkey stomping us. "but its just the first game" is what I am going to hear. The reality is, it will come down to the tiebreaker head to head for the #1 seed. With McDermott's 0-4 record on the road in the playoffs, I sure as hell don't want to play in Baltimore come January

Agreed. And with Coleman and Palmer outside, the only place Gabe should be getting goal line/red zone snaps is in the slot as an in line blocker who can run routes like we saw against KC in his blow up game.

Who are the above average backups in the league? Honestly asking Off the top of my head: Jake Browning bunch of nobodies

If he makes it, it's because he shows up and makes plays on special teams. It would be cool if he became a core special teamer.
