Torrence is on contract through the 2026 season. Have the Bills ever declined to negotiate a new contract at all (meaning not even a low ball) with a high draft pick who was playing well? The politics of that seems counter to their "resign your own" philosophy. Could they actually tell a player, "we like you a lot but we'd rather spend the money elsewhere?" I know it makes sense, but is it a bad look to the player and the team? I can see this being an expansion for the most populous ans wealthy cities in Canada. I seriously doubt any merger. I have no problem with a 4 team expansion into Canada as they are so close to the US. A lot easier than Europe expansion, but see that as well. I think if there was any danger of a letdown then this would be the game. The Bills are coming two wins in 4 days over divisional rivals. They have another divisional rivalry game next week. This is a game against a "Meh" non-conference opponent that the Bills have no history with. I think the Bills will still win as the talent gap between these teams is huge but if there was ever a game for them to let their guard down then this is it.
