And yet, after reading Homolander’s worthless X posts, you remain a smart man. I don’t know how you do it. 🤣

wonder how much influence his brother has with him. personally...i'd like to have cookie back but not for what he is allegedly asking/demanding. the oline is everything.

I believe if you charge for it, people can bring in recording equipment or something like that. Also, even if they sell the tickets, people will still resell them. The only solutions I can see are giving season ticket holders four tickets instead of six and increasing the number available per trading camp day, or having it back at the stadium.

Thank god! I always wondered what scary Larry's thoughts were. Pathetic.

Well, that's a big if. IMO the reason he didn't get more snaps last year was because of the deficits in his game. He's not a true smash-mouth short yardage hammer and he can't pass-block well. And Johnson's a better receiving back. If Cook improves his pass-blocking and pass-catching, maybe he'll get more snaps. And if that does happen, you could easily be right that he might get his 15M. Far from a sure thing that he'll make those improvements, though. Nor is it a sure thing that he ends up with a similar amount of TDs next year. Last season was a wild outlier in terms of TDs. My guess if given the same opportunities again next year he'd end up with closer to 7 - 10 TDs. Which is still damn good. But it's no 16 TDs. We'll have to see how it all turns out. But there's no particular reason to think that if we get rid of Cook that our run game would be "underachieving," your word there. I'd agree they'd have less of a threat to break one big, certainly. But our offense was still exceptionally good when our RBs were Singletary and Moss.

Training camp schedule & ticket info released!

Seems like it would make more sense for the Bills to just sell the tickets outright rather than have stubhub taking the profits. Maybe it could be a charity fund raiser. I would still rather see them move the practice to a venue able to handle the demand. Someone mentioned they saw tickets on sale for $70, but I thought NYS law limited markup to 10%. - Today

Um, I guess you're saying that I poorly mis-stated what you said? I don't see it myself, they appear nearly exactly the same. But let's say I completely messed it up. Thing is, what you actually said was every single bit as dumb as my recap of what you said. The idea that because something is said at a PC rather than a written interview ... that it wouldn't show up on the internet isn't just dumb, it's false. PCs have reporters covering them, and they put what is said into print. PCs these days are also on video. Again, they are covered ferociously, strip-mined passionately. If Josh had said something as incendiary as that at a PC, it would have been quoted a million times and been not just able to be found on the internet, but ubiquitous for days afterwards. The reason you can't find it is he never said that. As I pointed out before, all those things that Josh gets quoted on on the net? He said pretty much all of them at PCs and interviews. Hell, he said the thing you're quoting about Cook at a PC/interview. That somehow got reported on the net, didn't it? If you want to keep kidding yourself about that, go ahead. But the reality is the reason you can't find it is he never said it. Oh, and I love McDermott and Beane, both of them. I hope they'll both be here ten years from now. You know he said this at a press conference, right? And yet somehow you can find it on the net, in many many places. Which is how it works.

Who is the worst franchise QB in the NFL?
Chandler#81 replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
Currently, too many to mention. Historically, I’ll go with Trent Dilfer -
Bought my Son an autographed Allen jersey for Christmas from Beckett. The difference between ‘the real deal’ and knockoffs is so stark. Every letter is is individually stitched, every letter patch, striping, numbers and NFL logo as well. P.S. it was EXPENSIVE!

He didn't play special teams for long, but Jason Peters was an absolute wrecking ball on kick returns. That was back when the wedge blocking formation was still legal -- and Peters would obliterate the wedge singlehandedly. The dude was 300+ lbs. and really pretty fast; helluva lot of momentum. You could almost see the startled look on the returner's face when his blockers just dissolved. -
I only buy knockoffs. I've had good luck most of the time except for a 50th anniversary Dahlin sweater where the gold trim looks like garland. My Paul Posluszny jersey isn't great either. The rest are good to great.

Yeah, anyone thinking this is a slam dunk for Miami, I have have to disagree with them. Safety is one of the least valuable positions in the NFL. This is just both teams moving on from disgruntled players. Well, those players are probably going to be disgruntled with their new teams in not too long. Miami did not get better with these moves. They just got a little different.

The goal is do their best to pretend like they have a championship team while they made the move for Rodgers. Fitzpatrick, while their best secondary player, has fallen off the last couple of years from impact plays, and safety isn't as valuable as corner, and adding Smith adds a potential weapon on offense where the cupboard is a bit bare. Ramsey and Fitzpatrick could wash out for them depending on what they do at S. If Tua became available, I think there would be a heavy market for him. He's a player you can win with. He probably can't win it all, but he's better than a lot that's out there.

To salvage something out of it, I’d take a seam ripper to the BILLS wordmark. (I’ve never been a fan of those things anyway.) It looks like there’s no NFL shield on the collar either? Can order a patch one on the eBay and iron on and sew. I learned how to use the sewing machine during COVID times and have done customizing on a fair few Red Sox jerseys (ordered the name letters & numbers on eBay from a guy who uses the exact team font and I assume it’s done with a Cricut machine?), a Kelly era jersey whose vinyl numbers peeled, etc. I also do the odd repair to clothing, dog toys, and other items; hey it saves money.
