Wait - The Falcons Were Coming Off Their Bye
transient replied to HardyBoy's topic in The Stadium Wall
🤔… it’s all so clear now. Only a well rested team could make the Bills continually shoot themselves in the foot like that. What an amazing gameplan to take away Cook by having Brady inexplicably limit him to 17 carries despite the fact he was averaging 5+ yds per carry and had 37 yds on 5 rushes the first drive of the second half to propel the Bills to their only points of the half. Getting the Bills to only give him 4 more touches the rest of the game in what was mostly a 1 score game was masterful by the Falcons. And on offense, convincing the Bills that tackling Robinson and covering receivers on 3rd down were against the rules… ~~chef’s kiss~~ offensive strategy masterpiece. -
Bengals LB Logan Wilson requests trade - Was at Wyoming with Josh

He was a good player in Anarumo’s system. We used to complain about how Mahomes toyed with Edmunds but when Pattie went against the Bengals, Wilson wasn’t as easily fooled. His steps and awareness in coverage were mostly correct. I have no idea who he is now as a player, only what he was then. -
My view on the Bills Defensive Problems

That's wonderful! So certainly since 2024, we have to still be #1, right? Or at least still in the Top 5? Because that would be some really concerning metrics that would lend credence to OP's point that the scheme has been figured out if we were #1 since 2018, but since 2024 weren't even in the Top 10... -

My view on the Bills Defensive Problems

There's a rumor that in 2023 the NY State Attorney General's office was investigating the Bills for violating child labor laws... and that's what caused the team to allow Tremaine to leave the state and sign with the Bears. -
I've heard of him!!! "Twelve men on the field on the defense... that's a 5 yard penalty and repeat 1st down..." He's not quite the heat-seeking missile Milano was in his prime but he's not a huge liability in coverage, though a bit more of a thumper. Also I don't know if or how much he's slowed down from his prime in 2021-22. In his prime he was a 3-down linebacker.

Charlotte is 2.5 hours from me in the Charleston area, but I have family in or would have went! My wife’s nephew has an apartment in Charlotte like 2 blocks from the stadium- it was offered while he is in Thailand. Maybe next time in like 8 years lol 😂 -
My view on the Bills Defensive Problems

The Bills have kept the games against the Chiefs close only because of Allen and his heroics. Otherwise, this offense is nothing and will get blown away easily as we saw the last few weeks when Allen himself does not play well. You measure a coach's success against the best of the best and in that department McDermott and his defense has MOSTLY come back small. They have not been able to get over the hump. -

I’m going w/ my sister and my nephew. Looking forward to Sat night at the tavern on the tracks. Does anyone know how far the Tavern is from the DoubleTree hotel? -
Every few years this song pops up and I like it as much as the last time I heard it. Lyrics are biting. "3:15, I'm running. From a fourth grade lynch mob" "Good Lord, I've birthed a coward"
