So, basically, this a-hole's attitude was, boo-hoo, I can't get laid, so I'm gonna go to my gym and kill all the pretty women there.

You know what this guy's problem was? I already said it. He was an a-hole.

What he wanted was a beauty queen. When there are so many women out there who are single, and who may not be Farrah Fawcett circa 1977, but who are certainly desirable once you get to know them. It's his own damn fault if he didn't have sex for 20 years.

I think in our society today, sex can be found pretty easily if you want it bad enough. Lots of people still meet in bars. And there are still the, ahem, "escorts".

He may have wanted companionship, but it's pretty obvious to me that he wanted someone who he could not only have sex with, but ultimately control. Maybe that's why he couldn't find a relationship.

So the pretty women in skimpy workout clothes at the gym wouldn't talk to him. Cry me a freakin' river. They probably wouldn't talk to me either if I weren't married. My attitude would be "Their problem, not mine. Screw 'em." As a wise man has been quoted here regarding sexy women, "Somewhere, someone's tired of (sleeping with) that."

Nothing could have been done to prevent this. It's this bastard's fault. And he's burning in hell for it right now.

Maybe he wasn't after just sex. From reading his blog, it seems like he just wanted to fill the void of feeling alone and empty inside. He might have been after more of a relationship and having a woman to come home to at night. Who knows.

I never get fished into crap like this but I just scanned a lot of those entries. He talks about how he hasn't gotten laid in 20 years and that's why he's doing it. If you click the "me" link, you expect to see a fat tub of turd D&D dork (like most people here) but he's a decent looking dude who should not be having trouble getting laid. And he seems to have a decent grip on reality...of course that's not true.

What demons in this guy.

I am not quite sure I am reading your post right JA. This post is disturbing JA. Don't you think what you posted is part of his problem?

The guy is a hideous human being... Just looking at him, one can "see" it within 2 seconds.

Again, I don't know what to think/make of your post... Especially the highlighted part in red!:lol:

:lol::lol: Mike!

The creep seemed to have a "biological clock" of some sort!:lol: WTF? Yet, it is some of societies fault to blame too.

I almost took offense from John Adams post as I used to play D & D back in the day. I still might try out the online version when it goes free to play. There are plenty of guys who play Fantasy Football, Baseball etc that have no room to talk about geekiness (our whole D & D group did both so that makes us uber geeks I suppose). Most of our group went on to have happy, successful lives, at least as high a percentage as the average group. Oh and here is a lifted list of famous people that play D & D. Some on the list support John's point, some mine. So I would say playing D & D doesn't mean much one way or another.

1. Stephen Colbert (also went to Gen Con (a dnd/comic/roleplaying convention))

2. Vin Diesel (Wrote the introduction to a book about DnD)

3. Mike Myers

4. Dwayne Johnson AKA The Rock

5. Matt Groening

6. Dame Judy Dench (Introduced to the game by Vin Diesal)

7. Jenny McCarthy

8. -=Edited out cause I was wrong.=-

9. Edwin McCain (Not sure if he still does but did when he was a kid)

10. Wil Wheaton (played on the set of Star Trek: The Next Generation. Still plays to this day)

11. Daryl Hannah

12. Robin Williams (Plays both the Online DnD Game and the Tabletop one)

13. Lexa Doig AKA Rommie and the computer AI from Andromeda

14. Ben Aflac (Forced to play by Kevin Smith on a set once and fell in love. Prefers to play Wizards over fighters.)

15. Mat Damon (Forced to play by Kevin Smith on a set once and fell in love. Prefers to play Fighters over Wizards.)

16. Matthew Lillard (Said so on G4's attack of the show then stole all of thier D&D Minatures Models)

17. Jon Stewart (He also sneaks sutile D&D jokes into his show that only us D&D nerds get to laugh at.)

18. Jim Breuer

19. Brian Warner AKA Marilyn Manson

20. John Carmack and a good portion of the original id Software crew (Some of the characters and story elements in Quake were based off of D&D session iirc)

21. Sebastian Bengtsson

22. Joakim Bengtsson

23. Robert P. Olsson

24. Björn-Erik Karlsson

25. Daniel Antonsson

26. Tommy Karlsson

27. Kevin Smith (Can't I forgot him until now)

28. Eddie Izzard

29. Johnny Vaughn

30. Michael Greco

31. Dave Gorman

32. Charles Manson (He actually ran a game in prision! That is to say until California banned the running of Tabletop RPGs in prision.(This might actually be just a rumor but I don't mind))

33. Scott Edgar (Found the actual quotes! "I also play Dungeons and Dragons with my mates, which everyone reckons is tragic, but I reckon is heaps of fun.")

34. Jon Favreau (Another one with a quote! "I'm a very lazy person by nature. I have to be really engaged, and then I go straight from lazy to obsessive. I couldn't study chemistry, but I could memorize all the books for Dungeons and Dragons. It was ridiculous.")

35. Curt Schilling from, I think, the Red Sox or at least use to be.

36. Todd Pratt from, I think, the Braves or at least use to be.

37. Jimmy Wales (One of the starters of Wikipedia)

38. Jacques Villeneuve (Use to drive race cars. Ironicly he prefers to play Monks in D&D which move faster then all other characters)

39. Rivers Cuomo from Weezer and, it is rumored at least, the rest of the band.

40. Everyone in Marcy's Playground (They even wrote a song called "A Cloak of Elvenkind" Which is a Major Magical Item in Dungeons and Dragons)

41. Everyone in Flashlight Brown (They even wrote a song called "Ready to Roll" which references 20-Sided Dice and A LOT of other D&D related things)

42. Gary Gygax (He was famous enough to play a character on Futurama(himself) so I put him on the list)

43. Seth Greene (Even made a Robot Chicken episode that refenerced THAC0 which was part of the Advance DND (or 2nd Edition) rule set)

44. Trey Parker

45. Matt Stone

46. Patton Oswalt (even talked the Reno 911 guys into doing a DnD part on the show. It was very funny)

47. Stephen King (And certain things from dnd are referenced in The Dark Tower series)

48. Steve Rune Lundin AKA Steven Erikson

49. Joss Whedon (Director of Buffy The Vampire Slayer)

50. Jack Black (He also references DND in the song "Wonderboy")

The following people stole DnD stuff from the teen choice awards. I included pictures when I could find them:

53. Jon Heder

54. Jesse McCartney (http://i5.tinypic.com/477z19v.jpg)

58. Metallica (At least they played Call of Cthulhu and Dungeon and Dragons before Hetfield went into rehab)

59. Conan O'Brian (Use to play at least. He has mentioned it on his show)

60. Darby Conley (though he is C-List at best)

61. Andrew W.K.

62. The band Amon Amarth (Can I get a Wha wha from all my metalheads?)

63. My Chemical Romance (They played with Thrice during the Vans Warp Tour. My Chemical Romance's lead singer Gerard Way plays a Half-Elf Ranger)

64. Thrice (Played with My Chemical Romance during the Vans Warp Tour.)

65. Alice Cooper Played D&D (And even replayed the events of a game on an episode of That 70's Show)

66. Some/All of Barenaked Ladies

67. Raymond E Feist (He Actually uses a self created world in his books that was originally created for his Dungeons and Dragons game back home)

68. Kari Byron (Played DnD and has thought about getting Adam and Jaime to play with her.)

See this is the debate thing I referenced. It took me about a minute to find that list with this handy thing called google. I said it was a lifted list. Link to your creationist board please.

I'm sure I can find a list of 87 celebrity men who "take it in the a$$", but that doesn't make it cool or justify it as viable, in order to squash your own insecurity in doing so.

I would have thought you would be hesitant to post in a thread like this for very obvious reasons. So did you really blow off your fellow Bills fans in Canton?

I didn't blow anyone off. I never said I was going anywhere. There are tons of Bills fans at the hotel to mingle with. I was hesitant to go to a TBD sanctioned event because of how some here have attacked me personally over time. Kelly defending a guy like Ayers the way he did, even if it was for political jollies, just goes to show you don't know what some people are capable of. There are plenty of posters here that I respect, and I hope nobody would ever do something stupid, but I've never instigated a personal comment on this board (except once to Adams which crossed the line and I appologized). Yes I have replied.....and just so you know I don't count you in this group. You may have a sharp retort, but it is a thinking man's retort and not personal.

I haven't followed this case much, but the guy looked like a metro/gay dude. He probably couldn't come to terms with that fact and went haywire. Like some have said....20 years?

False.

What do you mean? The guy looks creepy and has nothing going... You can tell by just looking at his pic. I don't know, maybe woman could see that! How can anybody say otherwise? I mean my God, are some actually absorbed into just "skinny and fat."

Put you detectors on people... Obviuosly woman since 1982 have seen through... And that is one thing that gives me hope for this society. What JA said almost buys into the crap the creep was spewing. That is what I am trying to say. I am not sure I read JA's post right and I wish he would clarify... But man!!!:blink:

Face to face is different than online, because online everyone is 6'4", 250lbs, and all muscle. I can only remember one time in the last 10 years of Opener Tailgates that one person was asked not to come because they had said on the board they were only coming to cause trouble for a couple of people.
