When Reagan and Bush were racking up huge deficits nobody seemed to care. Now that the other parties guy is in there it suddenly becomes a problem. Do you think it would be better to let all of the industries fail? I'm not a big fan of huge deficit spending but I can't think of anything else they could do that wouldn't make an incredible loss of jobs and that would be worse than not trying to prop them up.
