Adam Lambert probably had more overall votes throughout the competition than any other contestant has in the past and anybody that doesn't see the kid has mad talent is blind and deaf. Funny - my kids were guessing earlier who might come out and sing w/ Adam and we were guessing Aerosmith, AC/DC etc. and out of nowhere, just before he comes out my son yells out "KISS!" Even though Kris won, he still got robbed in the performance department. He gets a dull country song with Keith Urban or whoever and Adam rocks with KISS! by the way, Adam sang Detroit Rock City very well. Things might be different if he sang something like that in the finale. But I am happy Kris won. He did receive the most votes the last 3 or 4 weeks, so it wasn't too shocking for me for you. I also thought David Cook's song, written about or for his brother, was amazing. Having lost my brother-in-law to cancer on Monday, the lyrics were just incredible.
