I usually don’t post in the game day thread, but I was so disgusted the first half I did.  Commented on how much better their team is, how we were completely outclassed and outcoached.  Texted my daughter that today would be the end of the McD/Beane regime.  Then the second half, defense wakes up, Superman puts on the cape.  And there you go.

 

So I’ll step up to the podium:  I’m an idiot.

dont feel bad..when you posted it..you were correct...    we looked like ass in the first half

I believe there is a good chance you were in the majority during the first half..my only hope is the Bills coaches are doing a "rope-a-dope" to fool everyone when they get to the playoffs.

Imagine if the team played the first half like they played the second half...

 

It's an issue they really need to figure out for the playoffs.  They can get away with it against younger or inexperienced teams, but it just makes it much more difficult than it needs to be.  They don't need to blow out a team but they do need to play four quarters.

I turned the game off at halftime, just so totally disgusted......which i usually do for Bills first halves, but then after an hour or so, i go back and see the Bills are putting on a clinic.

I was right there with you dude. I was completely disgusted and was reacting from an emotional place. Not proud of it. Glad they won it. But damn, can we spread out some of that second half play and use some of it in the first half sometimes?
