I think this guy really knows his football. Here's what he basically said. Not a great listen as a Bills fan. They aren't one of the most talented teams in the league, they aren't that good overall from a talent perspective, they lack play makers on both sides of the ball, very poor WR core and Kalir is more of a WR3, , have to scheme up offense, and rely on Josh being Superman which is hard to be sustainable and win like that. I know it's just one guys opinion but this guy really knows his football. Doesn't mean the Bills can't win it all. Nevertheless, this was pretty eye opening and deflating. What do you think? Who is your favorite team? 1 Quote

I bet 90% of this board agrees with this sentiment in some form or fashion. I think the likes/dislikes to your post is already reflecting that. His statement is a direct indictment of Beane and the scouting staff. From your summary it doesn’t sound like he said anything about poor coaching, play design etc. 1 Quote

We don't have JAGs - just average talent and no real "playmakers" outside of Allen, Cook and maybe Kincaid if we're being generous. But it's just about playing sound, complementary football. Our offense still in the league's top 3. The team is basically the same talent-wise that came within a dropped pass or proper 4th & 1 spot of making it to the Super Bowl last year. Yep. There were a couple of Patriots teams who didn't wow you from a talent perspective (outside of Brady) that won titles. It can be done. 1 Quote

Those teams had solid to great defenses led by maybe the best head coach in the history of the game. This Bills team isn't close to either. Honestly, if Josh Allen can lead this roster with this coaching staff to a championship, it just might be the greatest single-season feat by a QB in NFL history and they should induct him into the HoF the next day. gonzo1105 Posted 24 minutes ago Posted 24 minutes ago They do lack a lot of high end talent. That’s been said by many posters in here. This not high end talented team though it has a lot of depth on it as clearly shown by record/amount of injuries and has the best Quarterback in the NFL as well as a average talented team that seems to work together and do their job more often than not. I’ve begged the Bills for more size/speed for years, a thing that isn’t on top of their priority but it does seem to be shifting in their philosophy a bit which I’m thankful for just wish they would have done it quicker 1 Quote

Yuck!" or "Which one of you is really Greg Cosell?" Thanks Quote

I think someone already pointed this out. We fans are still hoped this is the year. 23 minutes ago, QB Bills said: Those teams had solid to great defenses led by maybe the best head coach in the history of the game. Good point about the defense. I'm not sure anyone is confident in the Bills defense. At best, I think we can hope for timely stops and a couple of big turnovers. Quote
