If there was ever a "star" QB I would pick to not finish his career where he started, it's Burrow. I think he's tired of Cincy and wants out. Money is nice and all, but it can't buy you happiness.

He's also just an arrogant weirdo in general. MOST of those Met Gala types are.

After watching Burrow’s press conference today, I’m again so glad Josh Allen is our QB!

I thought he was real, and I respect that. I mean, we look at him as a wealthy guy playing a kids game. But the question was around if he's having fun. He's missed multiple years with injury. Probably spent hundreds of hours in rehab. This is his job, it isn't always fun I'm sure. That's fine. Ideally not the take you want your QB to have, but honest which you don't always get.

“If I want to keep doing this, I have to have fun doing it,” Burrow said. “I have been through a lot. If it’s not fun, then what am I doing it for? That is the mind set I am trying to bring to the table.”

I’m not surprised to be honest. Some interesting comments from Joe.

I saw this earlier. This place would implode if Allen said any of this

This place implodes when someone, anyone looks like they might be injured.

As I said in the other thread, I thought it was an honest take. The guys injuries and rehab hours have to take a toll. I don't imagine it always feels like fun even if that's the perception people have because of the money/fame.

Did you all see this video clip of his media today? Guy sounds so low energy and there’s stuff going on in his head about his future.

He needs to understand he isnt always gonna win.

The Quote 100% reads Andrew Luck to me.  When being a QB is more work than fun - it may be time to re-evaluate.

Luck had so much rehab and time away - it became no fun and he needed the break.

I can totally see Burrow the same way - he has been injured multiple times and missed the playoffs when healthy.

Sometimes you need a change - even if minor to refresh and get you back into the mindset and sometimes you need to step away.

Could be.

I also wonder if how the team handled Tee Higgins on Sunday has players in the locker room pissed at the coaching staff.
