No, he just finally received treatment for an injury.  That is the only time you have to declare it.  It's probably been bothering him all season.  Again, just my speculation.

I dunno... it'd be weird if they let him practice today with an injury and then put him in a walking boot after.  He was full with no designation yesterday and today he was limited, which means he did practice in some capacity.  Logic would indicate he was limited because he couldn't finish practice due to getting injured or maybe aggravating a pre-existing injury, but I sure as heck hope you're right and they're being entirely proactive rather than reactive.

Benford is probably our most impactful player on D.  That would obviously be tough if he can't play, or isn't close to 100%.

But it's not like we're lacking depth there.  Lewis has been playing a lot, and Tre has given us some solid play.

Hoping for the best, and that this is just a stubbed toe & all very precautionary.  What a weird year in terms of injuries.  Maybe it balances out & we're healthy in the playoffs.

a walking boot on the foot is odd treatment for a spleen...

There’s nothing wrong with his foot. He’s in concussion protocol and a symptom is him wearing that freaking boot everywhere.

Made a stop at patsfans.com. Wow. All I can say that someone is pretty delusional - either me or them.

In general they think they are better than they were in week 5 even without Williams and we are worse. Diggs will have another big game, since we have no one to cover him, Maye will carve our defense more than Burrow, we have no pass rush without Oliver and our secondary is weak. They are hungry and better coached. We won against the Bengals because of Burrow's mistakes, and Maye won't make them. We can't stop their running game and they can stop ours.

Other than 2-3 posters there everybody seems to think they are much better team.

Oh and we didn't beat anyone too. The Bengals, Chiefs, Ravens don't count because of their losing records, and we beat the Steelers when Rodgers had a broken wrist.

Wow...according to some BIlls fans here this is frown upon. Who would of thunk it!

I ... Don't care if New England wins this division. We win Sunday it'll be cool. But I would love to go up there in the playoffs and let Diggs watch us celebrate winning the AFC.

He can go home to his 16 baby mamas and worry about next year.

*I love Diggs the player but as a person he's goofy.

This idea has been crossing my mind.  I mean, of COURSE I want to win this game. I want to win it badly.

But if we do lose - what are the chances that this fairly overrated Pats team can beat us a 3rd time this season?

Pretty low.  If we lose this one, I'd have enormous confidence we beat them them in January.

I think everyone should rethink Y’all.  I use it often.  Especially in this PC era.  Many are so gosh darn sensitive, and easily offended.  There are something like 23 gender pronouns.  Y’all is all inclusive, and easy.

I converted to using y'all a few years back.  Most languages have different pronouns for 2nd person singular vs 2nd person plural, and there's plenty of times that it's useful to distinguish.  I'm not saying "you all" like some poorly-programmed robot, and I don't think I have the juice to get "ye" back in use.  So I say y'all, and when I do, people understand what I mean.  Great success.

Lurking on another team's forum is always okay.  Posting can potentially be okay, depending on the forum and the posts themselves.  Even smack talk posts can be okay, although IMO only if they're in a dedicated thread for mixing it up with opposing fans.

Trolling, antagonizing, etc. are never okay, regardless of whether it's being done to our fans or by our fans.

My top choice would be to get the 1 seed.  Failing that, I'd still rather win the division and extend our streak to 6 - especially with KC probably ending their streak this year.  But the bronze medal option is getting the 5 seed and watching the 2 seed Patriots losing in the opening round.

Honestly, there's a part of me that would rather be the 5 seed than the 2 seed - especially if Pittsburgh wins their division.  The 7 seed very easily might be Houston or KC, and both of those teams are more dangerous than any of the other non-Bills wildcard potentials.

With all that said, if we get swept by the Patriots, I'll be pissed.  If we beat them on Sunday but they win the division by taking care of business against Jets & Dolphins? Congrats to them but I'm mostly unbothered.

I understand the parameters to "lurking" on another teams forum, i was just being sarcastic. I just think it's fascinating how some fans get so up and arms about it, they can't fathom the thought. When really it's normal behavior. Fans everywhere act a like. Its just fun seeing some complain about the very same thing they would or have done. ha ha

Thats how I feel about it.  Winning this week does 2 things: keeps the #1 seed in play (granted we need help to get that, so can’t be too upset if those chips don’t fall).  It also puts us in better position to get the 5 seed.  And if you’re going the be a WC, you want to be the 5 seed because that gets the easier draw in the WC and divisional round.

We can still get the 5 seed with a loss this week, but a win makes it much easier.

But then too there’s the.. F that team! I want to see them humiliated for all their years of cheating and paying off the refs.

Go Bills!
