I'm interested to see how the Bills plan on covering Diggs. He's a chain mover at this point but was very effective in the first game and I hope they have a better plan for him this time around.

 

His production the last 10 games is awful.

I’ve seen a drop off a little bit, but I mostly see the bad play coming from everyone’s weird fetish this year, Cam Lewis. The guy consistently gets taken advantage of and for some reason this board loves him. I do think we need to address nickel cornerback, though in the draft somewhere. The schedule makers really did us no favors with these last couple games!   The Bengals game after they get 10 days rest.  Followed by a big divisional game and the Pats have a 14 day rest.   
 

I expect the Pats to come out on fire.  They’re rested.  Know they win the division with a win.  And have eyes on the #1 seed.   We have to come out and match that physicality and energy right from the start.  
 

And hopefully have a better game plan to keep Maye contained in the pocket.

I wouldn't rule out that he's forgotten how to play.    He looks lost at times out there.   He's had a ton of concussions in his career but he usually(remarkably) cleared protocol and was back out there the next week.   It's not just the bad shoulders and aging wheels he has been the antithesis of the heady player he used to be.

Interesting.  Wide receiver is Buffalo weakest area on offense.  Buffalo only gets a handful of receptions out of their receivers anyway.  Running back and tight end, along with Josh, of course, are the skill players carrying the Bills offense this season.  Those realities, along with New England's strength at cornerback has got to inform and shape Buffalo's offensive strategy.

I was a bit lazy in my post. Watching the game again, I thought the defense did a better job than I thought, and the Bengals' success was more about Burrow and Higgins than any other factor. How do you stop accurate, quick passes to big tall receivers? Allen is the better quarterback because he's bigger, faster,  more creative, and with a stronger arm and more dog in him. But Burrows' icy calm, uncanny accuracy and quick release are extraordinary. Reminds me of Marino.

And that's why it's crazy to think our coaching is terrible defensively because of that lol 

 

Those conditions literally 100% favor the offense and defense is always playing catch up in those conditions 

 

And Joe is literally the closest thing to a Dan Marino.. he is by far the best pure passer from the pocket in the NFL... 

 

Now that doesn't mean Josh isn't a better player but that encompasses everything that makes Josh special... There's nobody better passing from the pocket in rhythm then Joe Brrrr

 

And he's playing with nothing to lose so it's all on the line versus Buffalo 

 

Bottom line back to back drives we took the ball away

 

I expect us to have a really good game against the Patriots defensively... Drake is my fantasy quarterback and I don't want to start them in my playoff matchup despite him being terrific all year 

 

I think we will have some looks for them

His last 10 games includes 3 games over 100 yards.

But in general his average performance seems to be like 3 receptions on 5 targets for 40 yards and a TD every other game. Not exactly huge output. There is a very good chance he won't break 1k yards this year.
