How do we feel about Higgins playing most of the game concussed?

Too Tee's credit he took himself out after the first one, pointing to his head. Perhaps at the point he is honestly trusting the medical doctors evaluating him and giving him the green light.

I know, it was just a joke. However, it was pretty clear Higgins smacked his head multiple times, even grabbing at his head while getting up. By Tua treatment, I mean that the team kept sending him out there with a "passed" e v a l

There are just players, many players, that have to be saved from themselves. Higgins is one. Allen is another. They want to be on the field if at all possible.

It's a semantics argument from the league. They need to stop answering "could they go back in?" And start answering "should they go in?"

yep, these dudes are wired differently.… I don’t fault Tee at all for wanting to come back in.  This is on the Bengals and the NFL.

I haven’t read the whole thread, but is there any chance at all that he was NOT concussed today?  Yes he has concussion issues, and yes he hit his head… but it is possible to not get a concussion when hitting your head. Are we making assumptions?

He had a big game and is a very good player.  

He hit his head. Held it in his hands, the announcers discussed it and he never even went into the tent.

This was the worst farce travesty of the concussion protocol I have yet seen. Taking away any rooting interest this was proof that the protocol is not working in some pretty obvious situations. He was fresh off the protocol and suffered two additional concussive events in this game (let’s not be naive and pretend either are any less evident than the Jayden Daniel’s injury or that Drs know better than we do). Much like Tua staggering off the field, this sucked as a fan and as a human. Do better NFL.

3 likely concussions in couple weeks is terrible.
