Not really, the guy is 35 and probably in his last year. Why would he want to move to a new city he's never been to before for two months before retiring?

I am shocked the bills put in a claim to be honest.

Ummm, maybe because he plays football.  He's rich.  It would be a 2 month rental house, or whatever, and he could end with a good team.  I'm pretty sure this wouldn't be far fetched.

Although, the guy is washed anyway.  It's shocking the Bills didn't do some homework maybe.  But, your question isn't real relevant, in my opinion.  If they guy was still into playing football, which his mind and play says he isn't, I think a lot of players would like to play and end for a contender with Josh Allen.

I would actually be like........"It's only 2 months, this is easy"

I mean, ya, we all feel that way to a degree but it is where it is and this is where we are. As much as people on the outside looking in seem to be enjoying being proven correct, its just low hanging fruit. Id rather he try and do whats possible instead of doubling down on his initial read that everything is OK. That might even be easier given how he stuck his head out in April. Instead he's seemingly eaten the perverbial crow. Im not saying you feel this way as you are simply trying to explain and while I appreciate it - I understand why people do it. But these 'fans' are just taking the low hanging fruit. Its the same ones that would be lining up for a kick at the can if NE signed Slay and then theyd be pissed he sat on his hands while a competitor signed a vet with an edge who's won before and can provide depth. I get its a message board, its just a shame it inadvertently screams yelling at coulds/get off my lawn/complain to complain football fans. You'll never make everyone happy... the shtick just gets old after a while

I agree with most of what you said. However, I don't know how much of "shtick" it really is.

The only way to stop much of the negativity is to win it all. We are starving to see that Lombardi hoisted in Buffalo. Many have waited decades including myself. Perhaps that's unrealistic or terrible way to view things. But is it? See below.

After season or two of Josh Allen, I think we knew how special he was.  A super bowl appearance and a win was evident or at the very least achievable. The anticipation of the next season was as high as ever. Years later, the Bills haven't even sniffed a super bowl appearance. Its best chance was inexcusably whisked away in 13 seconds. That's the moment McD lost me. That's a whole different story.

Currently, the Bills are almost assured of losing the AFC East and other teams in the AFC have seemingly closed the gap. Does this really look like a super bowl team? Be honest. For me, this is the least optimistic I've been in several years. Of course, they can still get there and I'm not giving up hope. I will be the first to cheer them on. However, I won't stand idle as a fan and not voice my criticism. It not a "shtick" for me.

Go Bills!!!

what a clown.

Also, why wouldn't the agent inform teams other than the Eagles

OR why wouldn't the Bills ask

Probably some type of CBA legal reason

Sucks but it's whatever

Fox to the 53, Ingram to the ps
