Oliver tied for 1st in the team in TFL only having played 2.5 games with 7 TFL.

Also he is tied for 2nd on the team in sacks with 3.

Bernard and Bosa also have 7 TFL, but with 11 games played.

It is really tough to be down Oliver and Hoecht 😞

2025 season feels like it's turning into the what could have been season.

At least we have a Hallmark Movie 😂

Yep, terrible timing this year to be hit by significant injuries and regression all around.  The AFC is as wide open as ever, no team is special.  The '21-'24 Bills would have rolled through to the Super Bowl.  The '25 Bills?  Nope.

yeah Beane has no luck in FA, goes and gets key guys (miller, hoecht) and then they immediately get catastrophic, career altering (ending?) injuries.

I guess, as always, Buffalo is not allowed to have nice things

Since the regular season is kind of a wash at this point, Let's get as healthy as possible for the season-end tournament with JA17 and see how that turns out

The Bills WILL make the playoffs. If they flub an 84% chance then i just don’t know anymore, but i highly doubt they miss them outright. If we can somehow get Oliver back by the 2nd round then the Bills have a legit shot (assuming we also have Kincaid back.) I’m holding out for a magical playoff run. The team IS talented enough IF firing on all cylinders with a SOLID OFF/DEF GAMEPLAN. We’ve seen crazier things happen in sports.

Who coulda guessed that giving a massive contract to a 33 year old pass rusher (Miller) wouldn't have worked out? Or a PED abuser in Hoecht?

Beane targeted these risky guys and it blew up in his face

As of this morning, the Bills are in the 7 seed. Houston, who owns the head to head tie breaker is right behind us. The Chiefs are right behind them.

I don't know what all goes into that 84%, but I can see our chances being significantly lower with the teams we face from here on out.

I ran the Playoff Prediction tool a few times and the Bills made the playoffs roughly 6 out of the 10 tries. The possibility of missing the playoffs has never been more realistic.

And even if they get in, do you see any world where this team shows up for 3 straight playoff games, on the road AND has a solid plan on both offense and defense? Then, avoids any in game injuries that would alter said amazing plans? I just don't this year.

Even though the Bills have been extremely inconsistent, as you say and I agree the AFC is wide open....anyone could win it.

I mean, the 7th seed I think has as good a chance as the #1 seed this year to win the conference.

I think in 2021, it was much more realistic to miss the playoffs.  We were 6-6 and in the 10th spot.

We control our own destiny, 11 wins almost for sure gets you in.  We have 4 more wins in us.

We're currently 7th in the standings and playing PIT this weekend.

If we lose to PIT, and HOU wins, we drop to 9th with h2h losses against those 2 teams and at least still sit atop KC for another week at least. 😭

The Pittsburgh game is lowkey an early playoff matchup.  I do think the winner makes the playoffs, the loser will be in trouble.

That being said, all the other wild card contenders have to play each other and will rack up some losses.  Who knows if it's favorable for Buffalo or not?

Last year I thought it couldn't get much worse but this year proved me wrong. It's pretty much been a main contributor to how bad this season has gone. There are other reasons this season sucks but injuries are in the forefront.

I'm going to be honest. I don't give a crap what happened in 2021. That team isn't this team. A lot of people keep dipping into the 2021 bag. Yes, it's a sign anything can happen. But unless this team can miraculously figure out how to:

- Get receivers open consistently

- Stop a running attack

- Rush the passer

- Have good solid coaching on both sides of the ball

- Play 4 complete quarters

- Avoid any further injuries

Then this team is sunk. I know the popular rallying cry is supposed to be "As long as we have Josh Allen anything can happen". But that showed several times this year to be false. No more apparent then against the Texans. He can't throw passes to himself. He can't stop the run. And he's making more mental errors this year than he has in a long time. Takes more than an amazing QB to win in the NFL....ask Dan Marino.

I was just pointing out, we were much further in the seeding in 2021 than we are this year.

There is also no powerhouses in 2025 so anything can happen.  The NFC is the same way.  There isn't an elite team on either conference.
