Joe Brady was actually the Bills QB coach before he became OC, and he was the passing game coordinator at LSU before he was OC for the Panthers. It's supposed to be his strength!

I know that was one season at LSU, and he had Joe Burrow at QB, Justin Jefferson, Ja'Marr Chase at WR. Clearly, designing a top passing scheme is not his strength.

Like I mentioned a Greg Roman clone.

Agree 💯 with this.

Watched from the stands in Atlanta. Nobody could get open. Play calling was trash. We are done. See y’all next year

Not the time to bail as this Buffalo team was 6-6 in 2023, and McD fired Ken Dorsey while promoting Joe Brady. I'm not sure what can happen this year. Demote Brady and promote Aaron Kromer? I don't know what the answer is, as all I do know is that teams have figured out how to beat Brady.

If that jackass calls another WR screen to Shakir, I'll be tempted to kick my dog. Seriously, it doesn't work against bad teams, so how does this clown think it will work against a #1 defense?

Forgot to mention one other thing; Our receiving options don’t seem to know what to do when Allen scrambles. They mostly just stay still or move only slightly. I don’t get it. They don’t come back toward the ball, or try to shake their defender.

Actually Shakir did a little, but everyone else? Just … statues for the most

part.

WE miss Diggs as a play maker.   This may not be popular, but that guy had the knack to get open and give Allen a chance.  The same was with Cole.  We are missing those guys so badly on this offense.  Shakir has also been a BIG disappointment.   We paid him money for being a WR and not a catch at scrimmage and try making 5-7 yards (and get lucky once in a while).   There were zero slant passes to him to move the chains.

In fairness to our guys that's one of the top defenses in the nfl

What about Miami and Atlanta?

The problem with Diggs was that he faded at the end of the season, and in the last few playoff games, he was basically useless. Many here wanted Buffalo to sign DK Metcalf for 30 mill per, and look at what he's doing in Pittsburgh: 8 targets, 5 receptions for 49 yards. That a 30 million dollar player, and he has had games like this most of the season.

Ja'Marr Chase stated he wants out of Cincy, and is tired of all the losing.

I agree with one caveat - we don't miss Diggs per say as it was addition by subtraction to let him go. But we do miss his style of play and production.  That Bean did not adequately replace him & to a lesser extent Davis, will go down as one of his biggest failures as GM.

“The Bills offense needed a drive. The unit had struggled throughout, but with 2:48 left in the game, the reigning MVP got the ball back at his own 18-yard line.”

just like Bills offense last 2 playoffs at the end of the game, and they struggled then too.

Waddle for a 2026 1st would have solved that.  Miami agreed.  Beane wouldn’t pay 😡

Dude that's what is coming out of the media to make you feel like we got hosed

If they wouldn't take a 2027 first round pick and a third round pick for waddle they weren't taking nothing from the Buffalo Bills.. in fact I was adamant they would never trade him to us anyways where they're 60 year rival

But they would do is tell the media that we would have done it if they gave us a little more lol that's a double f you to fans

They would never trade us waddle and I'm 100% certain if another NFC team offered them a 2027 first round pick and a third round pick in 2026 they would take the deal

Brady needs to go. We dont have that much talent on offense but a real coordinator can scheme things for one of the best QBs in the league.

When your MVP QB goes back to the bench and tells the back up QB "WTF are we doing," you know the coordinator sucks.

Since you were at the game, not sure that you got that. They showed it on broadcast.

Brady and Dorsey are a reflection of McDermott....

What a lot of Bills fans don't get is that the offense the Buffalo Bills run is the very same one that won so many Super Bowls for the Patriots, and in fact, they are still using it.

The Patriots didn't have a dominant #1 WR for quite a few seasons, and they faced the same sort of defenses that Buffalo has faced this year. The difference being that they would just move the chains to get first down after first down and then hit Gronk in the end zone.

Joe Brady attempts to call deep passes to receivers that aren't open with a line that doesn't give Allen enough time to take 5-7 step drop-backs. This same problem occurred against the crappy Atlanta Falcons and Miami Dolphins. McD needs to make a change, and it isn't benching Keon Coleman!

You forgot an even bigger difference - the Pats had championship caliber defenses and a first ballot HOF defensive guru as HC.  Didn't they win one Super Bowl game 13 - 3 and another by a 20 - 17 score?

The other difference was that while Edelman & Welker weren't elite WR's they were very good at moving the chains.  Think Beasley on steroids and they were both far superior to any WR Allen has had not named Diggs.

As for Grock, he was one of the greatest pass catching TE's in NFL history.  I like Kincaid but he has a long way to go before matching Gronk.

When things are not holding up protection wise, you can always speed things up to throw the defense out of their rhythm.
