Expectations were low, the draft was more fun, and there was always the hope that we would get the next big guy. Now we have him and it feels like we’re blowing it every single year. It’s the added pressure of expectations and disappointment when another year of prime unicorn goes by. Its hard to be good in the NFL consistently. There are always down years, even for teams with generational QBs. Changes need to be made. Quote

You're not trash because you lost in the AFC championship game But this fan base would make you believe that 100% Oh for fuxake stop with the spoiled nonsense. That's just not what is happening here. Fans are angry and sad that this window has apparently closed and the organization has wasted Josh Allen's prime. . The odds of them ever having a player like Josh Allen in a first contract + extension-year-cap-hit-pushes window ever again are slim and none. It's just like the reality that there is not a chance in hell that they will ever be able to field a roster like the one's they had in the late 80's and early 90's. This is second time the Buffalo Bills have squandered a gift that should have yielded a dynasty. Now they might win a SB some other way but the organization has had two extraordinary windows of opportunity and they've blown both of them. That makes people sad. I don't necessarily feel as distraught as some because I remind myself that it's just entertainment and I have a lot of other interests..........but if you can't put it in it's proper perspective it's easy to understand the frustration. He has an 8-4 playoff record and 2 NFC Championships. McD is 7-7 and no AFC Championships and most of his playoff wins are against the #7 seed at home. Quote

I don't think they were doing it better historically... Los Angeles has never won a Super bowl as the Rams either And Kyle shanahan has been in San Francisco for 9 years and not won a Super bowl and he's not getting any closer You seriously think Kyle Shanahan wouldn't get more out of the Bills and Josh Allen than McD has? QLBillsFan Posted 52 minutes ago Posted 52 minutes ago I feel bad for the many fans who spend $$$ on traveling to games and those who live and die by the Bills. It’s gut wrenching and disappointing. Quote

Shanahan has lost to the Mahomes/Reid Chiefs twice in the Superbowl. He has missed the playoffs 4/8 full seasons so far. Quote

Badol I've been talking to you for years I am obviously frustrated... But to think the window is closed when Josh has literally 8-9-10 years the windows not over We need to stop giving big contracts to mediocre players.. and get Josh somebody could get open John elway played 17 years before his first Super bowl win.. and he was the Golden boy the guy with the elway cross... 17 years Now I would like one this year but if we want it back to back on Josh's penultimate and last season when he was 37 and 38 that would still be the sweetest thing in the world I am starting to lose faith in the front office but that doesn't mean they can't get people in there to write the ship 3 minutes ago, Lionel Hutz said: You seriously think Kyle Shanahan wouldn't get more out of the Bills and Josh Allen than McD has? Kyle shanahan would give up 28 points a game with our defense lol He still has as much talent on his San Francisco defense even without two starters then we probably have right now.. and we're both allowing the same points for game No if he has Bernard and Matt Milano with our D line he's giving up 30 every game You're not masking linebackers who get washed out so easily at the NFL level.. and it takes three quarters to settle in San Francisco is in the same position of being good every year but never able to get over the hump.. and I don't think they will with Brock purdy Edited 49 minutes ago by Buffalo716 Quote

Also that missed extra point, damn McDermott for that one or does that go to Beane? 1 Quote

The fact that they were able to build a team around Purdy and make a Superbowl while the Bills can’t with Allen says it all. 1 Quote

It's called a system.. and again they had multiple all pros on their offense.. Christian McCaffrey their left tackle considered the best in the world, a pro bowl wide receiver... We have a good running back who's not as good as McCaffrey.. a good left tackle who's not as good as theirs And no wide receiver that's as good as theirs I don't think Kyle shanahan whose record is worse than Sean McDermott is coming here and just winning us a Super bowl lol 1 Quote

Considering he's had better teams and hasn't won I don't know where you come to that conclusion Unless he brings his general manager from San Francisco which isn't happening Our problem is our 52-man roster is not as good as a top five roster Edited 39 minutes ago by Buffalo716 Quote
