I think they do. I’m not even against it, it’s a long season. 41 minutes ago, oldmanfan said: Ok, you all have fun losing your minds and being irrational. In another thread it was Beane deliberately trying to spite fans, now its coaches don’t take games seriously. 34 minutes ago, JohnNord said: Yeah that’s not exactly provable. They always rotate their defensive lineman. I just think they need to fire Brady and rebuild the offense They always rotate, but not like in these “easy win” games. Seriously, how many first quarter snaps did L.Jackson or Solomon get v Chiefs? Or Ravens? Wouldn’t a rotation bring AJE in? it’s no injuries either because it’s happened in other games Quote
The Firebaugh Kid Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago 54 minutes ago, ***** said: And it’s provable. Maybe someone could pull up the snap counts for exact numbers but…. Today, against Atlanta, and against Carolina, I noticed that on the second defensive series, they will have our 2nd and 3rd string DL guys in. TO START OFF THE DRIVE! They are not filling in. This is planned. Landon Jackson got hurt when he was in with Solomon. In what world would Landon Jackson and Solomon be on the field at the same time!?!? the staff clearly believes they will easily beat these teams, and want the backups to get reps. this is a clear indication that the staff doesn’t treat every game as seriously as the next, and I think that’s trickling down to the players. Completely agree. You have a team that just did a yard sale and lost their best defensive player because of it and fired their general manager. These players are not guaranteed to even be on that roster next year so of course they’re gonna be motivated to go out there and put on a show against one of the best teams in the league. You have to have your team ready for that *****. 1 Quote

"It's okay, we're only playing (bad team)." Don't think the players aren't picking up on this and assuming the game will be a cakewalk. This regime has always been so conservative with injuries on guys that can go but let’s give it another week, yet still can’t stay healthy. We have had as many practice injuries then in game. Defense drop like flies, Kincaid is only pass catcher worth a damn and only gets about 1/3 of snaps yet still goes down every game with injury 2 Quote

For some players, particularly veteran guys, load management makes sense. But it seems to me that the Bills are trying to load manage the entire team for the entire season. This is a novel concept that is done in baseball & basketball but I've never seen it tried in football before. Only time will tell if it was the right or wrong thing to do. So far, it's a mixed result leaning towards it being the wrong thing to have done. 1 Quote
milfandcookies Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago The staff doesn’t take it seriously? What about the players?? Fumbling, interceptions, missed tackles. When can we blame the players 1 1 Quote

WeckMonster Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I’m pissed at the coaches for a lot but not this. Groot + Bosa in a cast on a feels-like 90 degree day. AJ out, Hoecht out. No choice but to play Solomon and Jackson. D was fine for 3Qs given the non stop 3 & outs from the O. Loss was 100% on offense. Quote
zow2 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago i agree with this but to me it’s more about energy and effort. You can’t even debate that they put as much effort into the game week practice preparation for Atlanta and Miami as they did for Kansas City. They did not come out in the first half vs Fins and Falcons and give max effort. That includes everyone including Allen. Quote

Hey Colin, I enjoyed your post. Are these typos (spellcheck etc) or some new urban expressions? Is a "tub" like a haphazard pass? Is "cheeks" like saying they played like "ass" (a popular expression these days)? Thanks @colin for a chuckle amidst the gloom. Quote
Nihilarian Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) My take is that the players, coaches and fans are completely spoiled and want the playoffs to start already. If you think it's bad at 6-3 just wait as they have a Tampa Bay team that just lost at home to New England. Then on the road to Houston, Pittsburgh then Cincy at home @ NE, @ Cleveland. Then Eagles, Jets at home. If this team continues to play like this they won't even make the playoffs. Edited 1 hour ago by Nihilarian 1 Quote

Rex and his brother drinking all night before games. Whaley getting drunk and more and causing fights at away games over women. These guys are not scouts compared to the past regimes. They're just not better at footballing, either. im a sucker that thought Rex was going to be good for this team because how good he did with the Jets. It didn’t take me long to see how much of a clown that guy actually was after he got here. That dude was like a legit clown clown. I was never a Whaley fan though.
