nuklz2594 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago the title says it all. any idea if they stay? what are we looking at for contract? 1 Quote
Buffalo716 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago We're probably only going to be able to keep at Max 2 of McGovern Edwards and Torrance 2 Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Depends on how much the Bills like their depth. If they feel SVPG is ready to take over at center or someone else can take over LG, then probably not. I'm sure the Bills will extend an offer to both, not sure if they want to hit FA or stay 1 Quote

He’s a young, high end OG, that someone will have cheap for a year (and obviously have to extend). The Bills can plug any of a number of guys into that spot. I think Edwards & McGovern will be roughly the cost of Torrence. 2 3 Quote

billsfan28277 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Edwards and McGovern are both gone after this year. Too costly and starting to get up in age. They will pay Cybo who is eligible for an extension after this season. Anderson and SGVP will be next year's interior linemen. Quote
Pete Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I thought they’d re-sign McGovern and restructure this past offseason, and free up some cap space. The fact that they did not, and our 2026 cap situation, there is a good chance he gets PAID as FA. They must really like SVPG. Edward’s, Torrence- we won’t keep them all, and all be paid big time. Thsys why I doubly upset that we didn’t get Josh a great WR this year, returning the whole entire OL, and backup OL, RB stacked, TE stacked, we couldn’t 29 YO Josh 1 more great WR. Next year Bills will need LB, S, OL, CB- and WR will be the last priority once again I’m guessing 1 Quote

They can’t have that much tied up in the OL. Brown and Dawkins are signed and at least one of the other 2 will be. Torrence is looking at a deal north of the 5 year $100M ($63M guaranteed) that Robert Hunt signed. That cap space needs to be allocated elsewhere. The Bills have done well finding OL. Maybe they plug Anderson into that spot? The hypothetical I threw out was Torrence and a 2 or 3 for Higgins? I don’t know the contract specifics but it makes sense for both sides from a football standpoint. The Bills get more balanced and the Bengals get their best OL. 1 Quote

I hear you tho I absolutely would not give up a second round pick with Torrance for t Higgins though I would give up Torrence and maybe a sixth Considering bills would have to take on $115 million dollar deal also Torrance also does not have any pro bowls or all pros so he's going to get a big contract but it should be under what the all pros are getting That hunt deal was ludicrous and stupid Edited 2 hours ago by Buffalo716 1 Quote

It’s just an example. That’s one way for the Bills to get their number 1 WR without sacrificing their 1st. A team that starts Anderson/Higgins is better than one that starts Torrence/Coleman. There are other guys that fit the mold too. That’s why I said he’s an excellent trade chip. You can’t give him $65M guaranteed while paying those others too. That cap space needs to be reallocated. 1 Quote

I think the team really likes Grable but isn't he still in concussion protocol and on the IR? They also have this year's draft Lundt who they also like. He's not on the practice squad because some would gobble him up. Quote

BigdaddyinOrlando Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Sign Torrance and McGovern and either Anderson or day two pick to replace Edward’s. Quote
chris heff Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Torrance should be a Bill for his entire career for one play, the “tush push” TD last Sunday when he pulled and then carried Josh into the end zone. In fact just put him on the Wall of Fame right now. 1 1 Quote
