There was definitely some DC sports talk radio stuff last week, touching on whether Maye would have been the better choice at #2, in part because of his size and durability

It is underratedly hard to outrace parity…some of these teams that overachieve one year just kinda get crushed by the harder schedules/worst draft picks etc

Oh I didn’t say he was special just that I THINK he will be I may have phrased it poorly.  All I know is he is the reason we have won 5 of the 7 games this year.. and actually made watching football fun instead of face palming again lol

I have watched this video of this play like 30 times if someone can find one Patriot player clapping you got better eyes than me.. I didn’t see one person clapping.. but I will admit I have fan glasses on so maybe I missed it

I don't know if it is a mountain or a mole hill? Kind of a bad look for both teams in a way but Atlanta definately are sour after taking the L.

What’s funny is part of me wanted the Falcons to get a FG just to see if Maye could lead a 2 minute drive to at least attempt a FG.. it’s the only thing he hasn’t had to do this year in a game is to actually come from behind in the last 2 minutes or so..

Crushing blow for the Chargers. They NEED to make a move for an OT today or tomorrow. With them having both OTS on IR now...our old buddy Bobby Hart is a starter for them😳

I'm not taking a side in the argument, but Jaylinn Hawkins claps his hands three times, visibly, as Pitts goes in motion. I don't imagine that Penix or the center could hear that, given how loud it was in the stadium. But that might be what Morris is talking about.

What team has spare starting-level OTs that they are willing to trade? Hardest need to fill, this side of QB.

After watching Mac Jones run the SF offense, it reconfirms my thoughts that one of the NFL's worst contracts was Brock Purdy's extension.  It looks like the only QB who doesn't look good in that offense is Trey Lance.

Thank you I didn’t see that, but with him going in motion that to me be more of a signal for the D for someone to pick him up than something nefarious like trying to simulate a snap count.. (it’s loud for the D as well lol) again IMO seems like whining from a team that has lost 3 straight and IMO choked their chances away at a win when Maye had his worse game since week 1.

We really want the Cowboys to win tonight, right? I'm hoping AZ turns into sellers. They really have no chance anyway given that division, but a loss will fully cement that perception internally, I suspect. Calais Campbell is someone I'd love to get. I know some (@GunnerBill) want Budda Baker too, although I guess I'm not as concerned with the safety position now that Bishop is turning into the player I thought he could become.

If I'm the Chargers I call Washington. Inquire about Tunsil. If they won't flip him, I'd try and grab Andrew Wylie or Nick Allegretti. Both guards. But they could start a guy like them and flip Bechton back to OT.

It's really obvious - blow up the screen and look at the safety in the upper left hand corner of your screen. He's clearly clapping vigorously, but honestly I don't think he's trying to cheat. I think he may simply trying to get the attention of one of the other DBs to get aligned. The guy who created this tweet didn't look very hard!

You know it’s so quick and I never saw him myself till I looked where you said to look.. and I agree you don’t try simulate a count from that far back IMO he was trying get a teammates attention..
