17islongenough Posted October 30 Posted October 30 Thought it was going back to Buffalo with the new stadium. But everyone seems to like going away. 2 Quote
Blackbeard Posted October 30 Posted October 30 Wish Fredonia was still in the mix. I can remember being in a bar at about 18 years old, and having Thurman hand me a jack n coke. Those days were amazing. My brother and I would help the Bills move into their dorms. Always a $5 tip I recall. How times have changed. 2 Quote
ClosetFan Posted October 30 Posted October 30 I don't get it. The facility is already unable to handle the current number of people who want to go and there is no parking. Most of the fan base is 70 miles away. It doesn't draw any more fans from Rochester since attendance is lottery dependent. I can't believe they haven't been able to find a better venue. 1 1 2 1 1 Quote
Ethan in Cleveland Posted October 30 Posted October 30 State of the art facilities in OP and they drive 70 miles to work out at a Division III college campus. It's been a bad idea for years. Just stay in OP. 1 1 1 1 Quote

Buffalo716 Posted October 30 Posted October 30 What people don't realize is attendance numbers doesn't matter to the Buffalo Bills nor does how they give the tickets away This is about recreating a college atmosphere in building a team.. putting them away from their wives and kids for 2 weeks living together eating together and rooming with each other It's about building bonds 2 3 Quote

The vast majority of the core has been here for years. Bonds are already formed in the offseason when many are already training in Buffalo. Training camps out of town like the preseason are relics of a long gone era. The Bills like most teams get more out of joint practices than they get from preseason games. Time to move on. I don't need my MVP QB sleeping in a dorm room. 1 Quote

It does not affect his performance at all The Kansas City Chiefs go to college for training camp but nobody says it affects mahomes or their team bonding They both go an hour away Edited October 31 by Buffalo716 1 Quote

My parents would go to Coughlan's and see a ton of players there. Hell my dad was an electrician and even got some extra work from hanging out there. Quote
