Or the Chiefs have a 2-2 Conference record which is the worst of those teams in the playoffs now? I won't doubt the Chiefs have been good these last 3 weeks but if the Bills do beat them this weekend it's going to hurt their chances quite a bit. Granted Denver's lost Surtain for a spell which may make their games against them coming up easier but Chiefs got hurt last night with Bolton and Pachecho going down too. Giving history I’d take my chances with KC over the Jax the rest of the way to make it. 1 Quote
Sestak4ever Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago If our line holds up I think we can get Cook some nice runs. Washington backs last night didn’t look they were running to the holes and there were missed blocking assignments. Not that it’s ever happened to us, but ball placement for Washington by the officiating crew was brutal. Quote
zow2 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Playing KC in this era is like playing the Patriots back in the Brady era (great Coach/QB/TE combo, great D coordinator). The difference is they are not in the AFC East and the Bills happen to be really good too. It's frustrating. I mean they had kind of a down year last season and still got the #1 seed and made the Super Bowl. Quote
TheFunPolice Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago every year we say "a 10 or 11 win team will be left out" and by the end there's a 9-8 team as the 7 seed. 1 1 Quote
Billsfanatic8989 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago The last four years have shown that the results of these regular season games mean absolutely nothing. Because of that, I can't see this as being anything more than a week 9 AFC game. Nothing more. 1 1 Quote

They had 2 losses - @Buffalo, and the super bowl. I'm not sure that would qualify as a "down year" 2 Quote
TheFunPolice Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago All this talk about the Wild Card race leaves out the fact that because of scheduling weirdness these teams in the hunt will all be playing each other in the coming weeks, sometimes twice. For example, Jags still have the Colts twice, the Broncos and the Chargers. All these teams won't be able to have 2-3 losses for long. Quote

I think they have a better team this year regardless of records. Quote

They won a lot of tight games though, and i think some of their season long stats are a bit affected by the week 18 game where they had less than 100 yards of offense and were shut out. Quote

The team, especially the offense and the way Mahomes is playing is definitely better right now than last year club. But yea, in the end the W’s are all that matter. Quote

The entire remaining schedule is bonkers. At work we went through all of the games remaining and predicted winners and losers. In many scenarios the broncos & Colts had a good chance at the one or two seed. The top of the AFC is tough, the bottom not so much. Where teams like the Patriots have the fourth place schedule remaining they have a couple tough games against the buccaneers, the bills, and I even count the Falcons as a tough game. The Ravens are a x Factor. Another loss or two and I can see them checked out by week 16 when I face the Patriots. The Chiefs have us, the Broncos twice, the chargers, colts, steelers. That's at least two more losses snuck in there, without the factor of that weird raiders lost they always seem to endure. The Chiefs in third place in their division have a harder row to hoe. The Steelers have the colts, lions, us, and Ravens twice. They got 3 more losses Chargers: Steelers, jags, Chiefs, eagles, broncos. Broncos: Packers and Chiefs twice I fully expect the playoffs to be 1 2 3 with the colts, broncos, Steelers... And no particular order. Whoever wins the AFC East before, it depends if the Patriots beat still in the match. At this point I would say the Bills and Chiefs are wild card with whoever else squeaks in, at this point the Ravens. Quote

It’s more than stats. They didn’t have their top guys for all or most of the year. They had to battle every week just to eke out wins. Credit to them that they were able to make it to the Superbowl that way. They’re a lot more full strength this season, especially the offense. Quote

I don't believe the Chiefs would have made the SB 5/6 years with the Steelers, Colts, Chargers, Steelers, Jets (2009-2012), and Ravens (Lewis, Reed, OL, etc) in the conference. The AFC was much better back then. In otherwords, the Patriots faced much better teams/HC's. Tougher road. That's not to take away what the Chiefs have accomplished. You till need to beat teams in front of you. Quote

This in the first Buffalo Bills game of the season that will be on free to air television in the UK. In case you don't make it to the pub, any hotel/house should have this channel - 5Action. It is also on Sky Sports as well but that is a paid channel and this is probably what will be shown at the Fitzrovia Belle. Channel 5 also has Pittsburgh/Indy beforehand but remember to switch channels after the first game. Enjoy your time in London! 5Action https://www.wheresthematch.com/nfl-on-tv/ - (UK TV NFL Listings for next 2 weeks) Quote

Like beyond stunned. Bills and Chiefs will win the division imo. 1 Quote

My thoughts are the Pats will slip up and Bills overtake them for the division, even with a loss this Sunday. But both are in regardless. My thoughts on Balt have changed. The only way they’d get in is via a massive collapse by Pitt. Either case only 1 team will be from the North. It’s going to be fun watching how things play out. That’s why the NFL is the best sports league. Quote

I'm not sure that would qualify as a "down year" I think the "down year" part is due to the historic close game record (similar to the Bills turnover margin last year...bound to regress). They certainly were 15 and 2, but not all 15 and 2 teams are the same. That's what I take from the comment. Quote

Huge game, always competitive.. should be fun See Chiefs vs Bills regular season games in 2021, 2023-2024. And what happened later on. Bills beat them in 2022 too. Because of that, this Sunday's result won't have much meaning long-term. At least not for me. We've been through this too many times. 1 Quote
Taro Nimbus Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I expect this board to go nuclear if the Bills lose this game. I had this as a loss coming into the season. Chiefs are just too good right now. If the Bills are gonna win, they need to force turnovers and capitalize off them. Quote
