tigerthelion Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I am thinking of heading to Buffalo for either the KC or Bucs game next month. I assume the KC game ticket prices likely would not go down much. Seems like 360 and up is the price I see for mostly section 300 tickets. Any ideas on best places to stay for access to transportation to and from game? I was thinking of flying in and just looking for Uber and perhaps a rally bus to and from the game foe transportation. Worth it to fly to Toronto, stay on Canadian side of the falls? And bus over for the game or would that be a border hassle? Mods can delete this post if it is repetitive or off topic. Just thought I would put it out there. I am from Atlantic Canada and was looking to get a general idea of price. From what I am pricing for flights to Buffalo, hotels, tickets, etc, it looks like between 4 and 5 thousand, which makes me question my sanity hahaha. 1 Quote
LabattBlue Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Where the heck are you flying from and how many people are going that you expect it to cost 4-5k? 😱 1 Quote
Kirby Jackson Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) My boss was in town for the Miami game. He stayed at the Hyatt downtown and it was like $500-$600 a night. It’s on the nicer end of hotels. He usually is at the Marriott but it was sold out (that’s where the team stays). You can probably plan on pricing in that neighborhood. I would suggest renting a car as Ubering is a nightmare IMO. It’s not hard getting there but getting out is tricky. Where we park is $60 and that seems to be a common price. Additionally, all of the Buffalo restaurants and wing places that you hear about require driving (or more Ubers). In terms of the tailgate, we find 5 hours before kickoff to be the sweet spot. If you do choose to Uber I’d strongly suggest partying at O’Neill’s after the game for a few hours and wait for the chaos to die down. Ticket prices probably won’t go up. The guy near me sold his KC tickets at the beginning of the year for $1600 each (so he claimed). That as much as I’ve seen for any Bills game there. The week of the game you’ll be able to get in under $200. There comes a point where they just kind of stagnate. I always wait when traveling but I’m a gambler. Hope that helps… Edited 1 hour ago by Kirby Jackson 1 1 Quote
Pete Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Josh Allen is a special player. So anytime you have a chance to see Josh play live- go for it! Any game, Josh just might break new records. It is an amazing time to be a Bills fan! Edited 2 hours ago by Pete 1 Quote
machine gun kelly Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Have fun bud. I’m sure the locals can help, but since I’m gone for the last 30 years, there’s others more qualified. I do hope you fun. Quote

1billsnut Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) We just went to the Patriots game. We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Hamburg. It cost us $20 to Uber into the game. I think it was $30 to Uber out of the game, we had to walk to The Big Tree for the Uber to get us. We were in Hamers lot, people were just getting ready to pull out of there when we got our Uber at The Big Tree. I would guess it was between an hour an hour and 15 minutes after the game that we got picked up. A better experience, than what I thought it would be. We needed the time for some “heartbreak drinks” anyway, and we didn’t have to drive!! Edited 2 hours ago by 1billsnut Quote

Do not, under any circumstances, take a bus across the border if you don't have to. I've done it twice, and you're at the mercy of how many buses are ahead of you, and the other people on your bus. Both times, it was at least an hour, because of waiting for busses ahead of us, and people on our bus being stupid and getting pulled in for extra questioning. The bus driver, unfortunately, has to wait for them to be done in customs. 2 Quote
