henry jones Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago At 4-1 with a division loss, I see next week as a must win heading into the Bye. Assuming we beat the Falcons and exit the Bye at 5-1, the Patriots will likely be 5-2. And then assuming we beat the Panthers, we’ll be 1 game up on New England heading into the toughest part of our schedule. How we’ve played against cupcake competition thus far does not bode well for us. The Patriots have an even cupcakier (not a word, I know) schedule from here on out. I can’t see them losing more than 3 games the rest of the season. We look awful and can easily see us losing at least 5 of our last 10 games. Never thought I’d say it, but I see the Patriots winning the division. 1 1 3 2 Quote
mannc Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago We are finally faced with another coach in our division who isn’t a joke…(Belichick was bad his last three years in NE). Gonna be a problem. 1 Quote
Billsfanatic8989 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago You are way more optimistic about the Patriots than I am. No way do they win this division. Next year? Different story. Quote

Everyone is expecting the defense to miraculously become competent when we get Hairston back and the suspensions end. Don’t see that happening. And Joe Brady is handicapping the offense 2 Quote
Herc11 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) The Patriots barely beat us when we played our worst game of the year. A uncharacteristic, sloppy 1st quarter that put us behind and we were chasing from there on out. There's plenty of time to right the ship. Edited 1 hour ago by Herc11 1 Quote

If anyone is counting on a first round rookie that missed a lot of camp to rescue the Bills secondary they’re dreaming. Hairston will be a role player on defense when and if he returns this season. The Bills are a good team and are 4-1. They turned the ball over tonite and took a lot of bad procedure penalties. They played badly and got what they deserved. Still, it was a close division loss, even with their mistakes. 1 Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago It would be good to win. It's not a "must win!!!" Quote
What a Tuel Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Its like Bills fans dont watch other teams play and just look at the records. Even then the Bills are one of six 4-1 teams but beyond that every one of those 4-1 teams had rough games. This was a tough loss no doubt but the meltdowns and hot takes are just asinine. BuffaloButt Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Apparently the Patriots have already won the Super Bowl by beating the Bills tonight on a last second field goal! Bills had a mid level game and still barely lost. We will definitely beat them next time. We all knew the Bills weren't going undefeated! It's one game! Go Bills! Quote

Different story. I actually think they have a better chance this year than next (they're unlikely to have such a creampuff schedule next year) - but still think we'll hang on and take it by a game. Bummer, though. We probably could have put it almost out of reach tonight. Quote
gobills404 Posted 55 minutes ago Posted 55 minutes ago It’s a “must win” only in the way that every game is a must win. Not that it should affect how the team approaches it but it’s not as important as divisional games or in-conference games against teams we’re competing with for playoff seeding. Quote

There’s no way the Pats can win the division this year. They’re more likely to miss the playoffs than win the division. 1 Quote

Losing to that team brings back a lot of negative in me. 1 Quote
Ray Stonada Posted 17 minutes ago Posted 17 minutes ago How is it that every time a team gets a good win, they’re suddenly a juggernaut and people can confidently predict the rest of their season? Four or five posters here were talking about how they don’t see the Chargers losing more than three games, after week ONE. Quote
