I've been drunk many times and never had the urge to kill a delivery driver. Probably alcohol+ other drugs. I agree, but there are people who react extremely poorly to alcohol, becoming violent hostile versions of themselves. That’s tough to understand for many of us, but it’s a thing. 1 2 Quote

My unscientific categories of drunks. 🤔 Edited October 12 by Ridgewaycynic2013 Forgot the miserable category. 3 1 Quote

My unscientific categories of drunks. 🤔 I aim for garrulous, but sometimes I slobber a bit. I’m a hybrid. This may seem odd, but I feel badly for everyone here, including Sanchez. I get that what he apparently/allegedly did was horrible and inexcusable, but that’s what can happen to people under the wrong conditions. I also get that he created this for himself (and it’s much worse for the victim) but the whole thing is just so sad. He’s not evil to his core. Something set this off. It doesn’t get Sanchez off the hook in any way, he’ll face the music, but he’s harmed himself as well and I hate to see that. I’ve witnessed this stuff up close and personal, so maybe that maybe makes me less quick to judge. That will come in time. . Edited October 12 by Augie 2 Quote

I’m a big fan of the Irish exit In my days of carousing, I tended to be a sprinter drinker, downing way too many beers too quickly. I would wisely come to the conclusion "Damn! I'm schnabbled!", and cease drinking. However, a good half of the alcohol I had consumed hadn't even hit the bloodstream yet. 'Vee get old too soon, und schmardt too late'. 😉 2 Quote
