They screwed the pooch big time on that one. Mac Jones threw for 342 yards 2 TDs & no picks against one of the better defenses in the league. If he continues this production for a few more games then Shanahan is going to have a big decision to make. I was actually worried when Mac Jones went to the Patriots. I’m not a big college football fan, but I love to see Alabama and other SEC powerhouses duke it out. While he didn’t have the physical tools, I thought his accuracy & mechanics were phenomenal. You saw these things break down a bit facing the much bigger & faster pro pass rushers. Sometimes we see players of all positions that were previously busts go to a new environment and succeed. And what better place for a quarterback than San Francisco? Real talk, if I was a struggling QB, I’d do everything in my power to work w/ Shanahan. Guy is a literal QB whisperer. Mac looked sharp, decisive, and in total command last night. Definitely worth keeping an eye on their situation. Edited Friday at 11:34 AM by ChronicAndKnuckles 1 1 Quote

Becoming the next Kirk Cousins would be very lucrative for him. 1 Quote

Fielders blew it for him with errors and bad play all around. Early is a very good young pitcher. Sox were fortunate to make the playoffs, had their chance game 2. Even if they won, they were not world series material. Quote

"They think we are going to run some exotic play, so let's keep it simple and fool them."........ When you try to out-smart the other team, you usually end up out-smarting yourself. And if Stafford had thrown an incomplete pass, people will be bitching that they should have just run the ball and got the damn ONE yard... Media always picks on the losers. 48 minutes ago, BarleyNY said: Agreed. Jones was smart to go to Shanny to turn his career around. Becoming the next Kirk Cousins would be very lucrative for him. Agreed. Jones will also get one of those $150M contract like Mayfield, Darnold and Geno Smith. 1 Quote
Livinginthepast Posted Friday at 01:23 PM Posted Friday at 01:23 PM Great game overall and yes the Rams could easily be 5-0 had they not shot themselves in the foot in the 2 losses. Really impressed with Stafford as he looked done a couple of years ago but is now excelling again into that age zone that Brady and Brees were still really good in. Quote
YoloinOhio Posted Friday at 05:56 PM Posted Friday at 05:56 PM I fell asleep, did Kelly Stafford hurl hot food at any niner fans this time? Quote
