a little off-topic, but before the MNF game last night I noticed for the first time that he’s on WKBW’s local  “Leading the Charge” show (which is beyond awful, by the way).

i miss the 90's pregame shows. the panthers had a show called panther prowl (i think) and it was with ron rivera. holy terriballs. the it was like a parody show with animations and graphics. just awful.

 

local broadcasting is always terrible, even in Buffalo...unless you count Life Without Shame. that was quality local programming.

I dont mind Leading the Charge, its fine, and I am partial to Howard.   The one on Spectrum with Stevie Johnson sets the standard for horrible.

the two 30-something guys were brutal.  Kept laughing nervously and shouting over one another.  Reminds me of the one WGR pregame guy, except on a cocktail of uppers and Red Bull.

I think we could lose to the Falcons because of the power running. I also think we can beat the Eagles because they match up well to what we can limit. We are geared to stop the pass naturally, and the big play. The Eagles capitalize on big plays leaning on Barkley to keep the pace moving. I just have a feeling our defense matches them well.

We should not lose to the Falcons regardless of their power running.  We are the better team with the better QB.
